Do you get much junk mail to your house?

i get a ton of junk email in both my inbox and in my spam box , better than email than actual mail , sumtimes i just need to create an entire new account for just junk emails ...

I've created 3 or 4 new e-mails.  I originally had one that I used only for these types of sites to take all the junk mail but eventually my main e-mail starting getting junk mail as well so..oh well.

Thats why I use gmail.

I have gotten a few phone calls-they stopped after I asked them not to call anymore, not much extra mail. But tons of email like everyone else. I use gmail too and filter them right out!

How is gmail better?  I just use hotmail, never knew there was a way around it.

for one gmail has almost unlimited space so u dont have to erase stuff. It also lets you create your own filters so you can filter those messages straight to the trash can ! lol.and you can search your mail from the inbox. Hotmail may have it by now, they didnt when I was a hotmail user..hence part of the reason I switched.

I get alot of pre-approval credit card and credit line letters in the mail. I also get alot of things from insurance places for health and life insurance. Other than those, that's about all I get outside of the usual junk mail.

xD and some people say that giving away adresses are bad...my emails are over-loaded with junk now

Gmail is excellent at filtering out spam. Occasionally, some pops into the inbox, but then you just have to mark it as spam. They have a large amount of free storage space. You can also tie-in another email account so you can send mail "from" that account without actually leaving Gmail. I like that feature, because my school's email system is terrible!

Another bonus is, that on other offer sites, they tell you to use unique emails - with Gmail, inserting periods into your username counts as a new email address, and goes into your Gmail account - so no need to set up a bunch of accounts!
