I am talking about the daily PTC and cash emails. I know and understand why we have have to verify we are real people, but asking us to watch a video just to get the code? I don't know and think someone should rethink this one.

I agree it is a way to verify that we are real people. But I believe there is another reason behind this system. 
The new feature of getting a code or typing what is in quotes is a way for FC to make money using these sponsors. Of course FC also has to find more ways to make profit where at the same time we are also doing our usual job of captcha in a new way...I believe it is a win win situation.
Don't think it makes any big difference to us....

i agree with you. the more advertisers that pay FC to be on the site, the more opportunities we will have to earn money.

They are an additional step, and we apologize for the inconvenience.  But overall it's not such a big hassle, and if you don't like to watch a video, you can click the little 'refresh' icon and get a new one.  Adding these will allow the PTC and DCE programs to remain fiscally possible for the foreseeable future.  Keep in mind that most sites pay just one cent for a daily email, and much less than 15c for a daily click.

When I first saw this (since I was busy for a few days) I was not a fan and thought it was annoying. But after doing it a second time tonight, I've realized it's not a big deal. Just need to get used to this slightly new way of getting my dailies...it could be worst lol

It's just a tad annoying.  But the fact that it helps in keeping us paid, then it's no big deal.  That makes it worth it.

Overall, I just hate captchas (particularly MYSPACE), but I realize why some sites have to do it.  It's because of automated spambot programs, always going and looking for a contact page field to fill in hoping to spam the owner of a particular website.   One of our websites have a guestbook which is a form fill-in and there has been spambots spamming all kinds of links to *bleep* sites and such.

I run a forum on a music DJ site, and I have an anti-spam question which states "put the answer in lower case", in which I totally squashed the automated spambots from signing up as a bogus forum member.

Lets all look on the bright side, with these captchas I haven't had them tell me that I wrote it out wrong once yet (knock on wood) because they are very clear to read, at least  they are not like some of the captchas seen on other websites that you have to guess the letter because it looks like an r and a l depending how you look at it - those are the worst!

But just to voice my opinion, I really don't mind taking the extra few seconds to watch a short video and type a captcha code into a box, especially not when it helps FC remain in a place that they can continue to offer such great opportunities a .02 cent daily email and .15 cent daily click, that is unheard of anywhere else! And don't forget about all those great little contests we have been having lately! I think FC is doing a fantastic job!

Dont get me wrong I LOVE FC !!!    THEY get $ for every ad u look at too   the more they can get u to look at  the more $ THEY make as well..
So they are really increasing FC profit..  Fine by me   but cant help wonder what other hoops they are going to have us do next to get 15 cents  ( for your 15 cents you are viewing LOTS OF ADS not just reading your horoscope or getting entertainment and you are making FC $$... FC gets paid to place them ads...   Like we have all said every penny counts...  I HATE HATE the new verification system does it matter NO   cause FC is still getting paid to run these ads...
FC is a business that is out to MAKE MONEY   NOT to just  GIVE MONEY AWAY FOR FREEEEEEE....   I will keep doing it for now until they try to squeeze another step to have to do that that they will profit off of....  FC makes more money off of ME then I make off of them by a long shot, and i am cool with that but feel like if they are going to add to it they should add to my 15 cents....  I do think i make more money off of other programs on the email stuff and i dont have to click on the ad verify stuff ...   whatever...  Its all about choices u chose to do it or not ....

Yeah and whats so hard about watching a 15 second video it will keep free cash in my account
