Where does inspiration come from?

Inspiration comes from perspiration, do the work first and get the praise if it's good.

Inspiration can come from lots of different sources.  I am inspired by ordinary people who are making a difference or by people who successfully reach the goals they set for themselves.  If they can do it I can too.

I believe inspiration comes from the inside.  It stems from a desire to accomplish a goal.  First you must know what it is that you desire.  This can take a considerable amount of soul searching.  But once you have discovered what that is, you must set you mind to what it is that you desire. I think this is where the popular term "Where there is a will there is a way" came from.

hmm, what kind of inspiration?

if you're talking about artistic inspiration, i find that
reading usually inspires me. reading books helps me
to loosen my mind, so to speak, and i can write much
better when i'm connected with someone else's good
words. actually, i like to go back to my old poetry/writing
from years ago and it helps bring back the spark.

if you mean inspiration, as in motivation to do something,
making a mental note of the pros and cons of doing it
work for me; how it will benefit me or others and what
it will change, or if it will generally make me feel better
(i usually have to do this to make myself clean, lol).

Wow, great question.  I believe it comes from the heart.  It is something that you really want bad enough and that forces you to prepare yourself to achieve it.  That is as simple as I can put it.

500 people can hear the same sermon in church some will be inspired, some will be indifferent, some will violently reject the message. Why were those that were inspired excited about what they heard?

I believe that it comes from different places at different times in your life.  I think when you are young it comes from the people around you.  As you get older it comes from the heart and beliefs.

Mine comes from my Kids and Husband..They inspire me so very much..And before them it was my grandparents they both were from germany and struggled when they first came to America and the lessons and stories they told me growing up were priceless I thank them both for being my inspiration as a child and my goal as a adult!!
