i had that same offer rejected too. it has to stay on your computer for a specific amount of time in order to keep the money.

I believe it's a minimum of 30 days. I never even got credit from Nielsen for this offer and I still have it running on my puter!! If I ever decide to uninstall it, they better not EVEN think of taking $2.00 from me that they never even credited!!

I am sorry that this happened to all of you.  Nielson is a well-respected company with a good reputation.  I did not qualify for this offer for some reason.  I suggest that your open a ticket with FC and see if that might help.  Maybe not, but it is worth trying.

Sorry to hear about your experience with having the credit reversed. I believe the minimum amount of time to have it installed on your computer was 30 days, but don't quote me on that. I have had it installed for months, I received instant credit for it and never had any problems with it.

I done the Nielson offer a while back and never received credit for it. After a few days, it didn’t matter to me anymore so I just removed it from my computer. I refuse to keep it because it made my computer run much slower than normal. I didn’t think it’s worth the risk you mentioned for the service to crash. It is true you must keep it for at least a month in your computer no matter what or they will revoke and take back the $2.00.

@dwiley11 - I had the same problem, too!  They gave me the $2 and I had it installed for a good month and a half, but neilson decided to take it off.  /: It stinks!

Same here, I installed and my laptop was so slow that I could not do anything on it and uninstalled a couple of days later not worth it.  I did get the credit and was taken back when I cashed out, but I did not care a rather not get the money that have my computer at snail pace.

I am surprised to hear so many people had problems with it making their computers slow. I haven't noticed any difference in speed on my laptop and I have had it installed since 7/30/2010. Maybe it only slows down certain browsers or operating systems?

I had the same problem. I recently noticed it turned to Denied as part of my cashout. I removed it after a while because it was slowing down my computer, as many others have stated. Oh well, it wasn't worth $2 to have my computer run so slowly!

i actually did this offer twice throughout the year. both times they denied me, but not right away. i was usually denied months later when i was saving up for a different cashout. i don't think it's fair.

I think you have to keep it on your computer for about a month in order for it to work.  I'm sure if you explain to the support administrators what happened, they will let you re-install it and give you the $2.00 back.
You can do this by opening a support ticket at http://www.fusioncash.net/tickets.php?new=1 and tell them what happened.  Maybe they can assign manual credit.  We can hope!

I did this back in October and I got credited immediately after installing it. I just made sure to leave it installed until my payment was approved and then I uninstalled it, which was probably around the 30 days required anyway. I probably would have just left it, but my hubby kept complaining that he should have to do any extra clicks every time he gets on the computer.
