Should I Get Layers

in my hair if I plan on using a round brush to style my hair daily?  I've never tried it with layers but it seems like it should look very nice.

For a minute, I thought you meant FC was going to start paying in layers (ala the new Trident gum ads)!

Seriously, I think women that do something with their hair always look cute, in my book.

Yes I do think you are right. I used to have layers and they did look nice and were pretty easy to take care of as well.

Haha - I can see where I would look funny but I don't do big curls, they are mainly all at the bottom!

I currently have layers myself and they do add style and body to your hair. My hair is naturally straight so I have to put some shape to it or else it would look dead. My mother's hair is curly and she also has it in layers. It looks really pretty on her but it's higher maintenance. She has to find a way to tame her curls. They do tend to go frizzy if she doesn't use the correct conditioning treatment. I say go for it if you want something new and different. Remember it's hair and it will grow back. Depending how much you're cutting off you can donate your hair to Locks of Love. That's what I did. It's a really good feeling to give a little girl with cancer a full head of hair.

I have had layers for a few years now, and they definitely add body which is good for my straight hair. And I think they make pulling off the cute messy ponytail way easier when you are in a hurry. Definitely invest in a lot of bobby pins and/or headbands to try different styles though. With layers, there are lots of options. Fixing your hair is way easier with them too, because you can style as you blow dry it.
