FireFox or Google CHrome
« on: December 06, 2010, 07:59:14 pm »
I'm not sure if this has already been discussed.  But I run both programs on my system for different things.  FireFox is definitely better for some websites but it seems to be running slower and slower lately.  Not sure whats going on with them but its not good.  Google Chrome on the other hand, runs pretty fast however its a no go for toolbars and other things.

I use FF. Are you at the most updated version? Did you recently update and the older worked better for you? You can always run a pcpitstop (http://pcpitstop.com/betapit/pitstop.asp) to see how they rate your pc and the areas they recommend to work on - could be pc related and not browser.

Personally, I do not use toolbars as most BHO's are bad/cause malware.

I also run both FireFox and Chrome because Firefox kept hanging up on me when a website was too slow.  Firefox handles Lastpass better and there is the toolbar thing or I wouldn't use it any longer.  The laptop that I use has Windows Vista and I can't be sure it's not at least part of the problem with the hang-ups but Chrome is still very much faster.  I have the Cllixsense and FushionCash toolbars and both are very handy.

I use both browsers interchangeably. If one is lagging, I switch to the other. Some features work better in one particular browser while the other is unstable, so it all depends.
