Issues with videos?

Hi All,

I am trying to figure out why I have so many issues with the videos.

I do have High speed internet with my cable provider but it is the slowest one out of the choices so I am thinking that may have something to do with it but everytime I try to watch the videos I have an issue. Either it won't play at all or it will play the same video over and over again even when I click on the the link "Next Video".

Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes, but it's probably not your computer it's the site. It's a pain to not beable to watch the video you want. But we all put up with it. The advice I can give is watch the video that can open. When I get on the video site, I watch all the videos that I can open. After I finish watching the video, it closes & I go on to the next until I fininsh all the videos that I can open. If I can't get it to work I leave the site for the day go back the next day, & usually the site will have re instate it self back or you would have a new set of videos. If you have more trouble  post for support for help. They might just have to reset the site for you. I Hope this helps you out.

Try putting a support ticket in.  Sometimes I end up watching the same video over and over again.  Have you tried restarting your computer as well to see if that helps as well.

I've been having a hard time with the videos today too. It keeps loading the same video but when I click to play it, it says the video was removed by user but when I click next video, the same thing reloads. It's frustrating but I'll just try back later and at the worst, in a day or two,it'll be fixed.

Thanks so much guys! I was feeling really frustrated. Pamela32280: That is exactly what happened to me. It just replayed the same video over and over when I was trying to go to the next one.

There are always glitches with videos. I do have issues when I go to youtube or any other site and try to watch a video so I know some of it has to do with the slow internet speed. FC has always been really great about fixing these kind of things so not too worried.

I did put in a support ticket so I think I will take you guys advice and re-boot and try maybe again tomorrow.

TODAY THEY GAVE ME CREDIT FOR 23 VIDEOS

There has to be a glitch with gambit or FC because this is the 6th day I have been given the SAME Axe video to watch which I have already watched and been credited for... No new videos for days as well. Why does it keep offering me a video I have already been credited for?? If I understand the rules correctly you can't complete any offer "twice" and judging from the many problems others have had with Gambit banning them it really feels like Gambit is trying to set me up here? Hate to put a support ticket in over this situation but it's starting to annoy me...

with the videos i've learned that if it pops up, watch it and see if you get credit. if the same video pops up again, watch it and see if you get credit. if you continue to get credit, keep watching them until they disappear.

Well for the first time in days it finally gave me 2 new pillsbury vids to watch. Funny thing is once I watched them it looped back around to the Axe vid again and offered me the pillsbury vids again that I just watched! It was said in this thread to watch them over and over again but common sense tells me the affiliates don't want to pay me for watching the same vid over and over and chances are it will cause a problem with Gambit or FC or both! I will send a support ticket in and hopefully they will have a definative answer about this situation...


I went ahead and sent a support ticket in. Once I get the definative answer from support/admin I will update this thread for those that are having the same problem...

I can't even find videos.  Is this offered to everyone or just special folks :-?  Can someone tell me where to find them?

Yeah, you have to click on the "Free / no CC needed link" and then the "More special offers" box.  There should be a video tab there.  It can be quite finicky sometimes, but stick it out, try again the next day.  Sometimes it works.

Got a lightning fast response from support/admin on this issue. This is the response I received straight from the horses mouth...

Sometimes Gambit allows users to see a video twice, for whatever reason. If you are credited twice for a video that you were shown on two separate occasions then when were paid for both. Watching a video over and over again in hopes that it credits once does little to affect crediting as they can often tell how many times you tried to view the video.

So there it is, always better to be safe than sorry! Back to video land I go...

I've noticed, as some others have, that sometimes you are provided with the same ad movie to watch more than once. But I have always been credited for watching it multiple times. I did have new Movies for me today... Pilsbury, Gap and Epic Mickey. Cool Vids.
