I learned how to drive by taking a Drivers Education Class when I was 16.

In my state, Drivers Ed is offered through the School District and it was great.  I was taught by a daughter of a race car driver.  We had a blast.  I just wished they would teach how to drive a stick shift.

My first boyfriend took me in his car to a business park late one night, when there was no traffic, and let me drive around for a while. I was 15 and that was my first experience driving. I didn't drive again until I started driver's ed, then my parents both taught me along with my instructor.

My ex husband taught me to drive. I was VERY pregnant at the time too, so it was quite a task trying to reach the pedals!!!! He taught me on a stick shift standard transmission which I am very grateful for.....but I'll never tell him that, lol.

My aunt and uncle taught me how to drive.  It was scary at times and the car and truck I learned on were old standard vehicles and shifting was nearly impossible.

I learned how to drive from both my mom and my dad. I drove with dad a little bit more than mom though only because my mom made me more nervous lol

I learned to drive with my dad on back country dirt roads whenever we went camping in our old 4X4. Then, when I got my permit, I drove my mom around in her car. That didn't go down so well since she would freak out with every move I made in traffic... so I ended up driving with my dad the rest of the time :) She still freaks out when I drive her around haha

I remember..I was 15 years old in 9th grade. I decided it's about that time for me to learn how to drive plus all my friends were already driving so I was green and driven to get my license and it just so happens the school I went to in high school offered a driver's learning class. I wish I could say it was my dad (for cheesy hallmark card purposes haha) who taught me first but it's Ms. Aucoin, driving instructor, who taught me how to drive.

my dad took his old truck out into the field and let me start tryin to drive it around where i couldnt do any damage, once i got the hang of that he would put out cones and i had to manuever them, once i got good at that, he took me down gravel roads and would throw the truck out of control and teach me how to save it, so too this day i have prevented a couple wrecks on wet roads by learning how to control a slide, I will always remember the way he taught me how to drive and i will teach my son the same way, if, well there are any more gravel and dirt roads in a couple years.
