Newb question on number of offers

I was looking at the available offers when I saw that there are only a max of 30 offers given a day... is there a reason for that? I would imagine that if we were able to see additional offers it would be benifitial to everyone.  just curious.....anyone have any thoughts on it? Im new to this whole thing anyway additional info is appreciated.
