What kind of teenager were you?

I was terrible, sneaking out, stealing from my parents, smoking cigs, staying the night with boys, shoplifting, Skipping school, running away, attempting suicide, trying to have a baby, cops always at the house, fighting, drop out, going to JDC, trouble with the law, Stealing my parents car at 13 and totaled it...wow, I love my parents for dealing with me and loving me still.

HEHE I was the golden child. Middle of 12 kids. I was always skipping school till my mother finally just took me out at 15 then at 16 married and started my family at 17.

I was a good girl.  I was honest with my Mom.  I hung out with a good crowd.  I respected the rules and followed them.

  I was a pretty good teen, although I did sneak behind my parents's back because I could not be upfront and truthful about the way I felt.  It just was not an option in my family.

My early teens I was an  then when I turned 16 I became a horrible, self centered human being. My boyfriend was the most important person in my life, my parent's didn't know anything or understood me and I knew it all. I smoked cigarettes, drank alcohol and lied through my teeth until I started to believe my lies as truth. I fought with my Sister's, ran away from home, moved out at 16 and then my whole life shattered when my boyfriend decided to move on. I finally came to my senses in my early twenties and turned my life into a positive.

I was pretty well-behaved. But just any teenager, I had my days of mischief thast eneded up with discipline

I was pretty good teenager up until I turned 18. My mom still treated me like I was a little kid but I didnt let that stop me cuz I was an adult now. anyways my mom had to go to mental health because of me.

I was very good I didn't give my parents any trouble.  I didn't have an attitude, didn't talk on the phone.  I got good grades and did well in school.  I didn't do anything to cause trouble.

I was kind of quiet and shy, but I grew up in the fifties in a rural area, so there wasn't so trouble to get into.  I did go through the rebellious, argumentative stage somewhat, but my mother didn't have a car for me to steal.  I did make up for it a little in my twenties, but not so much.  Like most teenagers who manage to live to be adults, I did find out that parents (my mother, in my case - our father walked out on us) do know a little about what they are telling you.  After all, they were teenagers at one time.  And most parents have an unconditional love for their children.

Not an angel, but not a troublemaker either.  I was a hard worker and got good grades, but I was definately "mouthy" and of course I thought my parents were dumb.  Didnt take me long to figure out that they knew a thing or two!
