Well if it means droping some chnage in the pot of the local church outside a wal mart or the ringing bell of the salvation army then yeah i did my part , better then nothing right ?

We volunteer at the local community food pantry on Saturday mornings. We meet many interesting people.

i believe that every person deserves to contribute during the time because there are still more less fortunate people out there. The best thing we can do is give everyone a little help in any way we can at least that is what i'm going to do a every chance i get.

My family gets a name off of the angel tree to help a child at Christmas!  We have done this for several years!

Nope.  I am the first non-charitable response, aren't I?   Charities and other non-profit organizations waste too much money in my eyes.  If you want to help someone, help someone you know or that friends/family knows, so you know the effort you put into it is truly a worthy cause.  Me?  I'm going to be paying my parent's rent this month, so my little brothers have a home for Christmas; does that count?

We give throughtout theyear to help the poor and nedy. It's just a part of our lives, and we enjoy doing it.

I try to give to charities and food banks when i can. I donate clothes and shoes that my family don't fit/don't wear. My daughter is into animals so this year i will try 2 donate to animal shelters.
