  Good idea to know one another a little. I'm 55 and am working part time in mall department store. After losing very good paying job in 2004 the pay for every job is less and less. I thank God for my husband and animals. Times are rough.

We like to take walks, work out, hang out and watch movies/t.v.  I enjoy reading, writing, hanging out at the library, shopping at yard sales and thrift stores, internet surfing, and last but not least....doing FusionCash!

We seem to have a good bit in common.  I too lost a good job but am working my way toward a better future if the economy would just lighten up a bit!   I love yard sales and thrift shops too and play way too many online games on Facebook.

Good morning,

Orientation went fine.  Lots of pertinent hospital information, although I'll be in an office, that was interesting. 

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame had everyone!  I too loved the Beatles and although at first it was Paul I gravitated toward John in later years.  We got to see clothing worn by many artists, including some of their childhood items, Janis' Joplin's Porsche is there, many quitars, drums and other equipment, handwritten songs and play lists, and lots of mini films put together by RRHF that were historical. 

I'm a big Stevie Nicks fan and have always dressed somewhat like her so I was excited to see about 5 of her outfits.  Give me a long skirt, flowing sleeves and a pair of boots and I'm in my comfort zone. 

Glad you are feeling better.  That pinched nerve can't feel good when you cough!  Are you going to try some therapy to get that under control?

I just realized that I missed my .17 yesterday because I had gotten it so early the morning before. I hate when that happens, My sister Norma would say I'll give you 17 cents. She just don't understand that that want be the same, lol.

I totally understand.  My BF wonders why I do my daily 17 cents.  He thinks it's a waste of my time but my point is that if you were walking along and saw a dime, a nickel and 2 pennies you would stoop and pick them up.  If I have the ability to add some change to the purse each day I'm going to do it and I've met some good friends along the way too.

I agree that times are rough.  I haven't worked since May of last year - it's hard.  You are a very busy lady!  You've got a lot of fun and interesting hobbies and interests - that's great!  I really hope we see you again!

I'm officially jealous, lol!  I would love to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  That sounds so neat what's there.  I'm a boots person, myself.  I like her type outfits, too. 

I'm doing some small therapy exercises that the doctor showed me, and it hurts, but I pull through it.  It's just my arm is still painful and my fingers are still numb.  I guess I could call and go back in, but what can they really do - doesn't it have to let go on its own?  My breathing has been good this week.  I had some wheezing and coughing today, but once again, I know it's this damp spring-like weather.  It's supposed to turn cold again in a couple of days.  My anemia is improved - yay!  So I get to come off the the iron for awhile.

How are you doing?  I'm glad yesterday went well.  Are you off the rest of this week?  What happens next with your work?

Don't be jealous!  Some day you can come visit me and we'll go to the R&R Hall of Fame. 

I'm glad the breathing is good.  Keep up with the therapy exercises. 

I'm doing okay.  I'm going shopping with a school friend today and we are taking her elderly neighbor woman with us.  We're driving to near Pittsburgh, an hour and a half away, do shop a large retail type of Salvation Army store.  I don't really need anything but I'm hoping a bargain or two will entice me.  We're going to eat lunch together too.  Bob and I have an appointment at 4.  First time together. 

I won't start my internship until next week on the same day I go back to school.  I could have started this week but opted to extend my time with Bob and my down time.  I'm having too much fun.  Soon it will be nose to the grind stone.

No word from my son.  I'm mailing their Christmas gifts today and will ask for a return receipt so I know if they get it.  This sucks.

Gotta run so I can get to my friends house by 9 as planned.  Take care.

I'll hold you to it about going there!!!  I hope you and your friend and her neighbor have a safe and fun trip.  Maybe you'll find a great deal.  I hope your and Bob's appointment goes well.  Fingers crossed.

I'm glad you gave yourself this week off to spend time with Bob and give yourself some downtime, too. 

One of my aunts had a hip replacement yesterday.  She did fine and is so excited about hopefully not being in that horrendous pain like she's been for several years.  She's in a hospital a little more than 2 hours away from here and I'm going to go and surprise visit her.  I spoke with her and my other aunt (her sister) both today.  My other aunt knows I'm coming and said Aunt Mary will be totally happy and surprised when I pop in.  When I was growing up she was/is my favorite aunt.  We keep up pretty regular but don't get to see each other very often.

Anyway, we'll both be on the road in the morning.  Hope all goes well tomorrow.  I'll "talk" to you then!

Good morning ladies,

Julie, I'm glad you got to see your aunt.  I'm sure she was happy to see you too. 

Girls I mean to tell you we were at the motherlode of all motherlodes of a Salvation Army store yesterday.  I spent about 20 dollars and came home with some gorgeous sweaters.  All name brands. 

I really enjoyed my day.  I made a new friend, Eleanor.  She is 81 years young.  We carried on and laughed like kids.  She is spry for her age, up on all current events and just a joy.  We both like to crochet and knit and she paints beautiful china ware.  We had lunch together and exchanged phone numbers.  She used to have a full time ceramic business but now just operates it part time for close friends.  She has two kilns and a bunch of molds.  She would like to sell everything and would train anybody that was willing.  If I only had the money I would do it.  I used to love to go to ceramics and make things but know nothing about the firing or molds.  If I could manage to buy into it we are commercially zoned and could open a business in the basement where the beauty shop used to be.  Pipedreams I'm sure but it's a nice idea.

It's freezing rain here this morning and I'm thankful I don't have to go out on the roads.

Hello Girls...

Things have been really busy for me craft page picked up with lots of pre-orders and we had some silly woman who were leaving rude comments cause I deleted them off personal page cause they were pressuring me to send them money..It started out one had colon cancer and I said give me a little time and maybe I will make some ribbons and donate proceeds to you..Well they did not like the idea and began to harass me daily and get really pushy so I nicely said I was going to step away from the 2 of them cause I felt uncomfortable..SO deleted them and they sent me emails that were just awful and then I blocked them cause they were rude on my personal page so they decided to attack the craft page so I had to delete and report them..Big old mess..LOL but it did help my sales some how lmao maybe how I handled it..The move is still pending waiting on a call and getting house ready..Also yesterday oh boy was a day..I finished a few pre-orders(which I will post later on craft page) went to pick my kids up and the people at my corner like to mess with everyone and anyone..Well their son was messing with two twin boys normal kid bickering..Well to my astonishment a few minutes after when the kids were on their way to their grandmas..The father of the corner kid came out screaming and chasing the boys up the fence yelling my son can kick your *bleep*..I was stunned..But as if that was not bad enough the one twin went to ride his bike home up the street and the father yelled tell your *bleep* dad anytime he wants his *bleep* beat to bring down here..my younger two had to see this..It took everything in me not to freak I had the kid stand by me,I said nothing to this idiot cause i have had issues with them and they are nuts..So when I seen the childs mom I let her know what happened and cops got called..I was livid how dare a adult do that to a child!!now hubby does not want me going to bus alone so he is cutting his sleep time to go with me..Some people this is why i want to get out of here..Well got some posting and stuff to do Love ya girls miss ya XOXOXO Dianna

That's wonderful about Eleanor.  You will probably be friends for life, now.  She sounds like a super lady.  She's very talented, too.  I'm glad you had a good time and got you some nice sweaters!

My aunt was totally surprised to see me.  We had such a great visit and she didn't want to let me go, lol.  I'll get back to see her soon when she's settled back at her home with my other aunt.  She is doing well with the new hip replacement and showed my x-rays of the old and the new - amazing difference for just a small area of surgery on her upper thigh.  She's gets to go home tomorrow.

I'm really glad I went, even if it was 2 1/2 hours each way.  I played my ipod so I had my favorites with me.

Hope your weather straightens out.  We have major storms coming through tonight, including tornado watches and possible tornadic activity.  I hate hearing bad weather like that after everyone goes to bed.

Well tomorrow is already Friday - this week is flying by.  Hope you and Bob are having a relaxed evening.  Talk to you tomorrow!
