Hi Kim,

Yes, some of the games, like Cafe Mom, Sims Social, Zombie land, etc., are very stingy with giving and receiving gifts.  At least with Ravenskye and Ravenwood Fair you get and give multiple.

I'm on the pain pills today.  I tried to fight it, but gave in because of how bad the pain is.  I hope this eases up quick - I don't really like being on those pills - I don't want to snooze all day, if you know what I mean.

The cold front came through all yesterday afternoon and during the night.  The winds were wild!  It's supposed to drop down in the 20s tonight.  I wish it would just stay consistent cold for awhile, instead of this wavering back and forth from warm, cold, warm, etc.  It feels so good out today.

Congrats to you!!  You've earned yourself a free break from school!!  Lol!  Enjoy - you more than deserve the break.

"See" you tomorrow,

Julie  ;)

Julie,

I don't do well with pain pills either.  I go down for the count quickly.  I hope your pain is better now.

It got cold here too and we have a couple of inches of snow but didn't get as much as they were calling for.  I think it's supposed to warm up again later in the week.

I have no plans to leave the house so let me know when it's a good time to call.

Kim

Hi Kim,

*Hanging my head in embarrassment*  I remember reading your message from here through my email.  I intended to come straight in here and answer, got distracted with some things, and then for some stupid reason, when I did come in here, I thought I had answered you just to find out I didn't.  My brain is in depletion mode today, lol.  So sorry about this.

I'm here anytime for a call.  I've had a high pain level day with this pinched nerve.  My left hand is numb and the arm has awful pain if I lower it or move it certain ways.  The numbness is making it harder to type.  As for talking, though, no problem there, lol.  Seriously, if today's chance has passed, I'm the one who goofed!

Hoping to chat soon!

Julie  :)

I have always had cramps as long as I could remember; not everyday but too often. My mom and dad would get leg cramps once in a while. For two years I had not drank a soda/pop. My mom got really sick in October and later passed, so I started drinking sodas again. On December 15, 2012 I had cramps of the worse kind all over my body. I was a mess, I yelled out to my roommate for help I didn't know what she could about it but to get the response I got from her did nothing but make me MAD. She said "you are the nurse in the house, what do you want me to do". All I could do was use one of my mother's words when she got upset "You Bear Hugger", when she use to say that you better stop what you are doing and take notice.

Acid really makes me cramp, that was another thing my roommate said, its those sodas you been drinking. So I quit that day again for good this time. A lot of people tells me and the doctor said it too, that I should not use salt in my food. There have been times when I would just taste a little salt when would have a cramp and it seemed to help. Even though I had stop drinking sodas for two years I still had cramps but the acid made them worse I think.

Being a breast cancer survivor it really is kinda hard to say what does and does not cause a cramp. Sometimes it is the way I turn, sit or lay down. I just have to keep busy. I am doing very well, I have to ware a pressure garment on my arm but it too is ok. God has really blessed me and I love Him so.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom.  I still miss mine a lot.  Do the doctors know what the underlying problem is with the cramps?  That's got to be frustrating not knowing what could cause them and never knowing when they are coming.  I hope someone can help you with that.  That's wonderful you are a breast cancer survivor.  That was hard for you.  Hope you are having a nice weekend.  :)

Hi Kim,

Yesterday's post really shows how I was apparently affected by the pain pills, lol.  I confused my own self!

Hope you are having a great day - getting things done you want to get done, and enjoying some down time.

I'm going to check my emails and then chill for a bit.

Later,

Julie  :)

Maxin ...  is that short for Maxine?

I never knew that about the acid causing leg cramps.  Makes sense though.  I once had problems with drinking the diet sodas.  I started to exhibit symptoms like MS.  They ran all kinds of tests but couldn't find anything wrong.  The PT told me he thought I was having a reaction to aspartame and told me to quit using anything with it and see if I got better.  I did and did.

Congratulations on being a survivor.

Julie,

Hope today is a better one for you.  I didn't sleep well last night.  I probably only drifted for an hour.  It's 4:30 and I'm up but I can smell a nap this afternoon for sure.  Bob will be on his way home today.  Home by Tuesday.

Julie,

I enjoyed talking to you yesterday too.  Thanks for listening and caring.  Although it's late afternoon I'm just now getting to my daily clicks.  Bob got home around 3.  We went to Erie this morning to return the sprinter and pick up his car, went to the mall (didn't shop but looked around and spent a good bit of time with the critters in the pet store), had lunch at Outback and came home.

I smell another nap coming on as soon as I play my games.

More later.

Kim,

Outback is one of my favorites, besides Red Lobster.  I love Outback's steaks!  That's good you two mixed business with pleasure.

I absolutely did not sleep at all last night and have been awake all day, too.  I'm feeling like I need to go pretty soon though, because it is catching up with me, lol.

Randal did not respond to my FB private message.  Yet, on his wall, he responded to every one consistently.  So I know he saw it.  The steroids have kick in with the emotions, so I'm not taking this thing with Randal too well tonight.   :(    :'(

Talk to you later,

Julie

Julie,

I'm so upset with both of our sons!

I'm still not sleeping well either.  I was up several times last night...maybe got a total of 3 hours.  We lost power last night.  We had major rain all day then the wind started when the cold front came through.  The wind apparently knocked out the lines and we were out for three or more hours.  I was so bored without my computer! Pretty darn sad.

Woke up this morning to 2 inches of snow.

Hugs and prayers to you.  I know you are going through emotional hell right now.

Kim,

I agree about the sons.

Sorry about all of the wind, rain, and losing power.  That's rough.  Is the snow sticking?  We have a front coming through today - it's just now clearing and cooler more.  However, after tomorrow, it's going back in the 70s again.  Ugh...

Thanks for your support and understanding right now.  I'm grateful and need it.

Maybe you'll be able to sleep better tonight.  Talk to you later,

Julie

Julie,

The rain had washed all the snow away but the next snow that came down has stayed as it hasn't warmed up.

I have a counseling appointment today.  The dogs get groomed tomorrow.  I have an appointment to get my hair cut too.  Saturday we leave for Cleveland and will stay the night.  Going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the rainforest and butterfly gardens at the Cleveland zoo then home on Sunday.  I'm about finished washing up three weeks of clothes that Bob brought home.  Rush, rush, relax, rush every day lately.  I don't know how I can be off of school, not busy but still busy all the time.

Seems to be a conflict somewhere and a time space warp.

Any word from Randal?

Kim

Hi Kim,

Lol, what in the world would you do if you still had school this week?  Anyway, I really hope you and Bob can relax and enjoy once you're there.  I go out of town for a doctor's appt., tomorrow, then get my asthma shots, and then I also have to take my c-pap machine to get looked out, per pulmonologist, since it's not working right.

I'm sending you an email about the other.

"See" you later,

Julie  :)
