I am so loving this forum and meeting new people. Sometimes you just need some place to vent and just feel appreciated. Just being able to say how you feel will help a lot. I was feeling a little down last week but didn't really want to vent here because all the posts I had read was so not the place to say what I was feeling. I guess that is how I looked at it and didn't give it much thought when I should have.

Anyway, I will post here as often as I can because I do love this thing called Fusion Cash, lol. I missed my .17 yesterday I was having so many spasms all over my body after I ate some fast food, I guess that was one of the triggers.  Talk more later and by the way I love your new blog. I wish I knew how to blog. It would be so nice to be able to go to a forum like this to learn one on one with somebody on topics that you really need to learn about. See I was trying to end this but I got started again.

I know that we can't post links on here but are there forums that teach that kind of stuff. By for now.

Lol, is this BLOGGING?????

Hi and it's nice to meet you!  Come in anytime, okay?  You mentioned triggers with food and body spasms.  As someone who is dealing with chronic health conditions, I'm sensitive to others who seem to be struggling with them, too.  Are you okay?  Hope to get to know you better.  Have a nice day!  :)

Hi Kim,

That is great your daughter came and spent time with you.  She knows she has something good with you cutting her hair and that says a lot for the bond with you two!

I always swell up and itch like that, too, from my tetanus shot.  In fact, I used to swell so bad with flu shots that they used to split them in half and give the other half a week later.  I'm handling them better now with just the one - not near as bad as before.

You sound like you have a busy day today - hope all goes well.  I know you are ready for that break, not to mention Bob getting back.

Yes, you have been through more than your share this past year.  Stuff like that affects my weight gaining, too, even though I try.  The Daliresp the dr. just took me off of recently took several pounds off of me because of it making me so sick.  I'm trying hard to keep the weight maintained and try to lose some much-needed more pounds.

I'm actually feeling tough on myself, too, for various reasons.  I know part of it is the health issues and the meds, but I'm affected by the issue with my son and can't seem to shake it off.  You have come so far, yourself, with everything this past year, but I think things will improve greatly for you when some of what you are dealing with now gets straightened out for the better.  Keep hanging in there, okay?

Well, I hope the UC mess gets straightened out for you asap.  Too many problems with that!

I hope you have a nice afternoon and evening!  Talk with you later!

Julie  :)

Welcome maxinmotion.

I think having somewhere to vent and feel appreciated is important and blogging does help to accomplish those tasks.  I have said more on this blog than I would say on somewhere on Facebook!  This is a smaller venue and not subject to too many opinions.  :)

What are causing your spasms in relation to food?

You do know how to blog...you just did!  Feel free to stop by anytime, kick your shoes off, whine, vent, say something funny or just say hello.  That's what we do.

We do post links to things we are discussing.  I think there are a list of rules about what you can't post as links but they are mostly in relation to people selling things and or of a naughty nature.  We keep it clean and mostly discuss issues of interest.

Hope to see you again,

Kim

Julie,

Two checks hit the bank yesterday....breathes a sigh of relief.

The arm with the tetanus shot is better but still sore, knotted and now itchy.  A couple more days and it should be back to normal.

I so understand how you feel about the stuff going on with your son.  We both need to pull up our big girl panties and get ourself in a better mental and physical shape.  I keep telling myself as soon as this busy week at school is over I'm going to take a mental vacation and get back on track.

I'm going to try to call you this weekend when things wind down.  I have CPR classes all day today, a test in Patho Wednesday (I have an A currently and hope to maintain that for my final grade), an English test Wednesday (I'll be done with the class for the rest of the week and semester) and I won't have any additional Clinicals after Wednesday either.  Friday is my last day of classes even though the semester doesn't officially end until Tuesday.  We have Monday off for MLK day too so they made it so we don't have to return for just one day of classes.

One or two more Word projects, a Medical Billing class and I'm done!  Woot woot!  As far as I know I came out with a 3.74 GPA.  Not too bad for an old woman who doesn't cheat on her tests.

Later,

Kim

Kim,

*High fives to you* about your 2 checks in the bank!  That's great!  You've got a busy school week, but the light at the end of the tunnel (your break) is right around the corner!  3.74 GPA is wonderful, Kim!  I'm so proud of you and glad for you!!  Have you been able to master some of those odd English modules?  You go girl!!  :)

Lol, you painted a funny picture of us pulling our big girls panties up!!  Tis true, however!  I'll look forward to hearing from you this weekend if it works out for you to call!

Bob should be coming in soon, too, right?  That will be good.

I have 2 friends who are really ill.  One friend has cancer, has been battling it for a couple of years now, and that after having a heart attack at her father's funeral right before the cancer appeared.  She's back in the hospital with more spots on her lungs and now it's appearing in her liver.  She and her husband are raising their granddaughter (3rd gr.) and the granddaughter is really having a hard time with this, too.

The other friend has had cancer twice, and had what they thought was a stroke last week.  While checking that out, they found that his whole inside is filled with cancer.  His wife is a cancer survivor, too, and is really struggling with this happening to her hubby.

Sorry for the low-key, but could you pray for them, too?  I just hope they'll both be strong enough to pull through these latest upsets.  Thanks much.

Hope you have a super evening!  "See" you tomorrow!

Julie  :)

Hi Dianna,

It's always great to see you when you come in!  That's super that things are still progressing on your hopeful move back to Michigan!  I hope your teeth are hanging in there - it's just next month when you go in about them, right?  I'll definitely check out your craft page again - I always enjoy seeing your new items.  The contest sounds great!!  Take care - see you on FB, too!

Julie,

Oh my heart aches for your friends.  Prayers going up.

Good reminder for people who are healthy to count their blessings.  We(I) whine but in reality I'm not bad off in comparison.  Yes Bob should be home perhaps Tuesday.  We're not sure if they are going to have him drive the truck home or if they are flying him in.  If they fly him I'll have to pick him up in Pittsburgh and drive him to Erie (eventually) to pick up his car.  I hope the weather stays decent.  This has been the mildest winter I've had in years.  Just sayin' not complaining.

Can't stay on here long this morning.  I have to take a shower and study a bit more.  Yes I did get the English modules done and will have my final written test today but I'm walking out with an A in that class too.  I certainly earned it with the amount of hours I spent on that module.  I have a two hour break today so I'll work on getting my last couple of Word Projects completed and turned in.  That should complete things for me.

Hope you are feeling well and have a good day.

Kim

Well I am 50 years old.  I have cleaned houses for 30 years.  I like cleaning houses, but am getting burnt out on it.  I love to play on the computer and I am thrilled that I stumbled onto this site.  I have not been doing it, but just 3 days.  Its is a ton of fun.  I hope to find something else like this to do to.  I plan on using my money from this to just supplement our income.

Hi and welcome to FC!  Every little bit adds up, that's for sure!  Cleaning houses is a hard job - I have enough troubles staying on cleaning in my own house, lol.  One of my sister-in-laws and a friend both clean houses - they are so worn by the end of the week.  Hope to see you again! :)

Hello Kim,

Thank you for the prayers.  They are much needed and appreciated.  :)

I agree about the mild weather.  It started out very cold in October, of all things, and so where is it now?  It's supposed to get cold again by Friday.  I wish it would stay consistently cold and stop dancing around with the warm/cool - my allergies and asthma can't take it.   Whining over, thanks for the vent, lol!

Yay on getting those English modules done, with an A on top of that!!  I was pulling for you!  Hope school goes well today.

I go back to my new pulmonologist tomorrow.  We'll discuss the lab results, how the new meds worked or not (except for the one that made me so sick), and where to go from here.  I had to postpone my Xolair shots from this Friday to the 20th because our insurance changed and they "accidentally" left me off and had to get me added back on.  So it looked like I had no insurance and had to changed that appt. and another doctor's appt.  At least for tomorrow's visit, I have a faxed card as of today, that I can use.

My prayers and thoughts are still going your way.  I hope you enjoy your evening and take time to do something just for you!!  "See" ya later!

Julie  :)

Julie,

I didn't have school today but I do have one class tomorrow.  We took our final in her class but she is a stickler about keeping things going right up to the last minute.  I guess I could skip the class and it still wouldn't affect my grade because I had no absences in her class...dunno....might just do that.

I got up at my normal time and Bob asked me why I didn't sleep in.  I said sleeping was a waste of my time.  However, shortly after that I did get drowsy and cold so went back in and crawled under the covers.  I just now woke up and it's nine!

I have a lot of little errands, cleaning and so forth to do today so it's bang here for my 17 cents, play another round of my games then get this butt off the chair and get moving.

He'll be home about Tuesday and I've got to get this place back in gear.  He said we might spend a day in Cleveland, go to the zoo, the Rock n Roll Museum as sort of a mini vacation so I want to get everything nailed down here within the next couple of days.

Hope you have good news with the pulmonologist today.  Drop me an email when you get home and maybe we can knock out that phone call we've been threatening to have

Later.

Hi Kim,

I'm glad you had the day off!  It hardly seems worth the gas and time for one class, including that you took the final today.  There are instructors like that though.  Whatever you decide, it sounds like you'll be fine with the grade.  I have to sub on Roddy's bus tomorrow afternoon (from 1:00 to about 5:00) for the monitor.  I don't feel like it, but need the money, and it's just the afternoon, not morning, too.

I went to my pulmonologist this morning.  I lost 10 lbs. since last month, from being sick from that med.  However, she wants me to try it one more time and if I get nauseous, to stop.  This med was working and she is hoping it wasn't the med that had me sick.  She also said that there isn't another med comparable to it.  We'll see...  She wants me back on the c-pap - yuck.  I hate that thing.  They are over nighting an oxygen thing for me to use tomorrow night.  Then the same company will pick it back up on Saturday and get it back to her.  If my oxygen level is doing pretty well, then maybe it will change having to use the c-pap.  She also told me that my labwork indicates that there is an auto immune problem.  Since this isn't her area, she's letting the PCP test extra things they look for with this, and then refer me to whatever specialist.  I'm trying not to worry about that....

I had to go to an urgent care this afternoon.  I have a pinched nerve in my neck and the pain has radiated clear down to my fingers with 3 of them numb.  Apparently a neck injury I had when I was a younger teenager is the culprit and is causing some inflammation in there.  I also have a bladder infection - I never get those - yuck.  So I'm on pain pills, antibiotics, and steroids.

I'm glad you went back and drowsed a little.  You probably needed it.  Were you able to get your errands and cleaning done?  That's great Bob's wanting to take you to those places for a kind of mini vacation!!  Those sound like super places to visit!

Sorry I didn't get on here until late tonight.  It was a long day with those appts. and I had just read your part about knocking out that phone call.  I'll be here tomorrow until 1:00 and then after 5:00.  I should be home Saturday still recuperating with this pain, ugh!  Maybe we'll get to it after all!

Take care,

Julie  :)

Yikes girl!  You have a whole laundry list of things wrong with you!  Saturday will work for me for the phone call.  It looks like the best day for you too.

Still playing all the games.  I am trying to get my quests caught up and be more organized with them.  I had too many going at one time.  I can't find a good exchange link for Zombie land.  They make the quests for that one next to impossible.  Kill 40 hazmat zombies within 11 hours and each one takes 4 hits to kill them.  Undercover agents take 6.  Goodness.

Later my friend.
