Hi Kim,
Your situation with the flat tire is definitely funny! It seems like those kinds of things always happen when you don't want them to, lol. I imagine you were a sight, for sure, trying to fix your tire. I'm sorry you had the flat tire, though - but thankfully, you tried to prepare for the worst like that while Bob is gone.
I'm glad you had some old timey girlfriend time, even if you two kind of had an early night - you were plumb-tuckered out, with everything lately! I'm sure the studying will pay off, though! I hope you both get to work on your crafts today. It's fun when someone is helping!

Our evening went well. We all had a great visit and a quick-to-prepare meal. We had roast beef sandwiches, so other than getting the meat, bread, cheese, and lettuce, I only had to slice tomatoes and onions. Dessert was peanut butter cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies - which is a couple of their favorites, and the oatmeal raisin is Roddy's favorite. Adam, Veronica, and I love peanut butter cookies. I had ordered a couple of buckets of cookie dough to help a middle school fundraiser for a young friend of ours.
Today is nice and so much cooler again since the cold front has finally come through. My breathing is better finally, too, since the front settled in. Still coughing, though. I'm taking Benadryl today to try and help with the allergies end of it.
I've had all of my teacher items, books, bulletin board sets, dvd's, and such, stored at a storage unit for a year and a half now. Today we're cleaning it out (all 4 of us) and only keeping certain things of it that can be stored in our shed. That will now help me financially with not having to pay for the monthly fee. I'm going to donate the rest to teacher friends who are still teaching where I did before we moved. I'll take it down when I go for my doctor's appointment and meet for lunch.
I hope you have a great day, today! Talk with you later!
Julie
