I have one son who is 7 months.
I sew cloth diapers, and am a stay at home mom :)

Hi to all new people

Oh my goodness I can't believe I didn't realize that there were various pages developing on this blog and I haven't responded to the new people!  Forgive my tardiness.

Lbeery..tell me more about these rugs you are making.  I am making rugs too but mine are crochet and it's a pattern for using up old yarn scraps.

xdrummermommy ... cloth diapers are hard to find!  I'm sure there is a market for them out there.  How are sales going?

scarter...I don't need a grant but I'll keep you in mind.  It's great being able to work from home isn't it?  I used to do that about a quarter of the time with my old job.

jcribb...Congratulations on the new grandchild.  When is it due?

hotychick...it is tough out there but I make a game of saving money...and earning it too!  What games do you play online?  I play Canasta on Pogo.

Anyone that crochets blankets or baby hats, the NICU's at the hospitals would love to have them for the babies. Or even if they are made out of material. Blankets and hats are used a lot there. Make them and drop them off, I know they will be appreciated.

I am a working mom who had a premature infant. I also have a 7 year old stepson.

I would love to more about this project.  Where is this hospital located because this is up my alley and I'm always looking for creative ways to donate or volunteer anyway that I can!   Can you please send me more information on this?

I'm 28 and married with 2 children 9 and 1. My husband is in the military. Due to the economy I can find a job that will make enough money and pay for daycare. My husband and I are both in college and its tough. I just hope that FC will work out and start to show a great income opportunity!

jcribb..thanks for letting me know the due date.  I'll be watching for updates.

Our weather has turned pretty crappy here.  We are getting loads of rain.  If this turns colder we will get dumped on with snow.  I guess we've been pretty lucky though since today is the first of December and we haven't had a snow that has accumulated yet.

Well we did get a couple of inches of snow and it's plenty cold.  I've not been very busy at work, selling calendars in a kiosk, and it's boring as H E double L.  We aren't allowed to talk on a cell phone, read, eat while working so all I do is walk around and around the kiosk and straighten things.  Not hard but so incredibly boring I think I can't work another minute at times.  We aren't even allowed to sit on a chair.  It's crazy.

:cat:    Golotomer, is this just a temporary (seasonal) job?  If so, hang in there!!!!  That would be frustrating with all those restrictions, even though I understand why. I imagine your feet and back are more than ready to rest when you get home!    :)

Everyone is vacationing in North Carolina! I guess I am really lucky to live here!

I'm a 28 year-old wife of a U.S. Marine. I choose to work from home so I can keep the house neat and have meals ready for him. We'll be celebrating our first wedding anniversary on December 2.
I've went to college for Psychology, Mass Media, and Legal Studies--none of which held my attention. I'm sure I'll go back someday. It's never too late.

   happy anniversary!

i too went to college and found nothing could hold my attention. i love to learn new things but as soon as i have them figured out i get bored and move on to something else :) guess its a good thing that there isn't a college degree required to be a SAHM  :D

That's great, then!  You should enjoy schooling for Medical Assistant!  It sure would be a lot better on your back and feet, lol!!! :)

You are so right about MA being easier on my feet and back.  I'm a little worried about the phlebotomy part but I'm going to try to do a really good job and hopefully if I ever work where I have to use it I'll be able to soothe patients through the process.  There is nothing worse than having a bad stick.

How are your earnings on FC going?  I don't do too many of the surveys because they always seem to want a home phone number and I get enough telemarketing calls as it is.  I do the paid to read emails, the forum and the daily click throughs, sometimes the videos, but that's about it.  Any other tips?
