Jcribb..I will send a note to admin and ask but I had asked them about another situation for the score on a game and never got a response or the piddly 50 cents I should have earned for that either.  Admittedly too I have a traumatic situation going on in my life right now that I need to focus on and spending a lot of time on here for pennies just isn't a priority any more.  It's more of a fill in my time thing for now.

I'm so sorry about your situation going on.  That is always hard, especially when you are already so busy trying to take classes and basically switch careers.  I can pray for you (I just stopped and did pray for your situation.)  I wish I could do more.  I hope things truly work out for you.  I would miss you and your blog - you are the main thread that I really enjoy and feel a part of.  (I do visit Florezittia's thread sometimes, just not near as often.)  Please keep me posted. Hope you have a very good day and a better week!!  :)

I didn't think FusionCash was a blog... is it??? I'm a 49 year old who is disabled and I currently have double vision (I close one eye) and keep busy however I can...

Hi,

Fusion Cash isn't a blog per se but I created my own blog page to have a consistent place to post in order to earn the 3 dollars a month for posting in the forum and to create a little network of friends that frequent FC.  What is causing your double vision?  Can it be corrected?  I know that must be a real problem to deal with on a daily basis.  How long have you been having this problem.  Saying a little prayer for your healing.

Hi to whoever may read this.  I hope your day is going well.

Saying a prayer for you too Jcribb

Took a minute to pray for you.  Are you dealing with your allergies again?  For myself I can only pray for peace and a sense of direction.  I've dealt with many things in my many years on earth, we all deal with various problems, annoyances, aches and pains, but this one is really quite large and it makes it worse when it's not something you can make common knowledge or talk about.  So...thanks for your prayers.  Sometimes it's so hard to hear God's voice telling you which choices to make and that, right now, is truly what I need.  If I could just lay the fleece before Him.

I do know what you mean about laying the fleece before Him.  I will pray for you daily.  I hope you get a solid answer soon.  Mine is a combination of several things going on at this point. Dealing with my allergies is one of them.  I went to the doctor yesterday.  It seems as if the Xolair shots may be starting to kick in now. She said my lungs sounded better than they have in a long time.  That's a big plus!  I'm still dealing with the upper respiratory problems, but at least things may be improving from the inside out.

My daughter (she's 23) is very sick and they can't figure it out yet.  She had some more labwork and tests yesterday and passed out while there.  She's been passing out frequently, throwing up 2 or 3 times a day, and has extreme dizziness. She's been getting worse lately.  They don't want to confirm yet until the results are in, but he's thinking possibly bacteria in the stomach.  We'll find out Monday.
There's a couple of other things, but like you, they can't become public knowledge.

Thank you for your prayers, too.  Hope you are having a relaxed weekend.  Hang in there, yourself.  :)

Prayers

Jcribb...prayers today for both you and your daughter.  I don't know how you go about your bible readings but I did lay the fleece before the Lord and was totally amazed at how the answer came to me through prayer and reading.  Two days in a row now the answer came immediately after prayer and directly through the Word.  Even someone who is a self confessed atheist admitted that my answers were clear.

That is neat when that happens, isn't it!  I'm very glad for you.  You know it's something mighty in itself when an atheist even acknowledges it!!  That could be a real testimony! :)

Hearing the voice
« Reply #173 on: March 07, 2011, 02:56:49 am »
Yeah it was pretty hard to deny that what I was being lead to read was through divine intervention.  First HE dealt with my faith through the years, on again off again..heated at times, lukewarm at others and of course the route of the agnostic.  He restored my faith through the scripture.  Then he dealt with the situation at hand by answering a direct question.  It was so very clear and the weird thing is that the decision I made was one that not many people would have made, Christian in faith or not, given the situation, and one that many people would not think God would lead you to make.   However, his divine love, total acceptance of human failures and forgiving grace is what was leading the way.

Prayers for you and your daughter again today.  Keep me posted.

Hi Kat!  Hope all is going well for you.  Thank you so much for your continued prayers for Veronica (my daughter.)  We spent all day at ER yesterday.  She was severly dehydrated, has a UTI, white blood count is too high, heart rate was 148 (from the dehydration), and she has a kidney stone 9 mm in size.  Needless to say, she's on several meds to get her well.  She's on a liquid diet for 2 days. Afterwards, she'll followup with the urologist about the kidney stone.

Hopefully she'll get straightened out and feel better again.  Again, thank you for your prayers - I am very grateful.  I am so glad your situation/choice was confirmed by God as to what you should do.  I hope that works out for you.

Have a super week!  :)

Your daughter
« Reply #175 on: March 09, 2011, 03:19:04 am »
Good morning.  Well at least now you know what is wrong with your daughter and can begin the battle toward recovery.  It's the "not knowing" that is hard to deal with.

I think I saw that you are now following me on Twitter.  I don't twitter that much to be honest but glad you're connected there too.  Are you on Facebook by any chance.  That seems to be where I do the most interacting.  The last name is talboo if you decide to hook up with me on there.  Once we make a connection on there, if we do, we can exchange real email addresses and so on.

I'm a little skeptical posting real information about myself on this board but will only accept friend requests from people I recognize so not too concerned about any lurkers from this board finding me.  lol.

Hope to talk to you more another time.  Have a great day!

I just recently signed up for Twitter.  I noticed we have to have 5 followers, so I did find your name and "followed" you.  I am on FB more, so I will look you up!  Have a nice day!  Talk to you soon!  :)   :cat:

Facebook and other stuff
« Reply #177 on: March 10, 2011, 02:25:24 am »
Hi Jcribb.  Glad to have connected on FB.  It's always nice putting a face to someone you are interacting with.  I keep in touch with many of the people I used to work with at my old job (the one I got laid off from) and also friends and family.  Other than school I can go days without actually seeing anyone and FB makes it easier for me to feel connected.  My kids, grandkids are also on there and I can follow their posts and see their most recent pictures and adventures.  It's great.

How is your daughter doing?

:cat:    Thank you for asking about my daughter.  She had a follow-up visit today.  She almost passed out in the waiting room - it was taking a long time and since she has only been sitting or standing a little she got clammy and faint.  She's still running fever, but the nausea is better.  Her heart rate is still a little fast.  She's on a jello, gatorade, soup, cranberry, and popsicle diet now.  He's keeping her out of work another week and will decide then whether to let her go back.  It's just going to be a slow recovery for her with the UTI.  They will do something about the kidney stone after the UTI is straightened. (Unless she has bad pain.)

I really enjoy FB, too.  My family and friends are on there.  I agree with you that it's easier to "see" them on there when going for days or even weeks without actually seeing them.  I'm glad we connected, also!

Hope you've gotten settled in a routine with your schooling now.  You seem to like this much better than the job over the Christmas holidays!  Take care! Talk to you soon!  :)

Today's missive
« Reply #179 on: March 11, 2011, 02:38:40 am »
Your poor daughter!  She is really going through it.  Prayers for quick recovery.

My heart goes out to all the people in the earthquake this morning.  I'm just now getting up and haven't seen a lot of the news coverage but with an 8.9 it has to be really bad!

We got another 5 inches of snow this morning and more on the way.  I'm thinking at least a two hour delay for school and maybe even a cancellation.

Yes I have gotten into a routine at school and know what to expect from each of the teachers and their unique ways of testing.  Once you know what their tests consist of you can figure out how to study.  I am friends with a couple of other younger girls who take their studies as seriously as I do so we help each other out and create study guides.  It's a good mix.  I'm at least 20 years plus their senior but it's a good match personality-wise.  All of the younger kids hang out and interact with me at school which surprises me but we have fun.

Hope you are feeling better too.  Talk more later.

Kim
