See? I told you - you've made a friend for life! She sounds sweet and sounds like she needs someone to chat with.
Our weather calmed down during the night. It felt so good out today - we opened the windows. It was sunny, breezy, and crisp cool! I loved it. It's supposed to stay with us for a few days.
I know what you mean about your son. Sorry you still haven't heard anything. We haven't with ours either.
Did you and Bob get to walk today? How's your weather?
I hope you and Bob have a wonderful Saturday!
Julie
P.S. I look forward to your email! I owe you one back, too.
Julie,
Eleanor's husband was a classical hoarder so I guess she needs a lot of help. I'm not going to offer though unless she asks. Not that I don't want to help but I don't want her thinking I'm offering out of greed and honestly it sounds like a terrible lot of work to get it sorted out.
I did hear from my son last night and again today. He got his Christmas box and called to talk. My daughter, from here in PA, was also down to visit today. We had been estranged for a while because of "the thing" I was dealing with. So now all three kids are currently speaking to me. We'll see how long this lasts.
My son is moving tomorrow. His fiance has another job lined up but it's toward where her mother lives. They will be staying with her for a while, however, I told him he was more than welcome to stay here for a while, especially while Bob is back in Florida in February. It would be nice to have the company.
Our weather is typical PA today, we've had rain, sleet, snow and now it's very windy but still cold and the sun is actually shining.
Bob and I went for a walk in the local mall last night and perused an antique shop we like. We did our grocery shopping too. I'm glad that's out of the way before another snow hits and also while he was home to help carry stuff in. I'm on what is called the 17 day diet. It's a bit like Atkins for the first 17 days, lots of proteins and very few carbs. After that you do another 17 days where you add some carbs but all whole grain and no white flour and very little sugar. It will take more planning, as most diets do, and I hope I can stick with it once school starts. It's hard cooking the right things when you are so busy.
We're still being lazy and just playing during this break. Games, games, games for me but that will soon end.
I won't promise an email right now. I have to be motivated to actually get an email out.
Later my friend. I hope your day is going great.
Kim
