what is better a laptop or dask top

I like my laptop better than a desktop.  In my opinion, laptops are easier and more convenient to use than desktop computers.  Sometimes laptops are also less expensive.

I haven't got a laptop, yet, but I'm thinking I will like it better because I can take it with me if i want too. Not to mention all these wires under my desk. It get on my nerves when I try to straighten them out.

        Neither...unless you have a light weight laptop that you can carry with you everywhere. I prefer the new I-Pads.

My desktop definitely has more power and dual 19 inch monitors are hard to carry around. I do a LOT more to make money online than surf the net, so it pays for itself many times over. When I surf the net with all the viruses and spyware around, I use another desktop with Linux on it and I also have a laptop with a 17 inch screen and a Netbook with a much smaller screen for portability. It fits great on the tray table of an airplane and the battery lasts several hours. When I flew to Charlotte and back last week I watched an entire video ecourse on using Facebook and had time left to read a few pdf reports to improve my skills. I just charged the battery during layovers. So the bottom line is, get whatever suits your needs the best, or get them all like I did.

I have had 3 desk top computers, but last December I bought a Laptop and it is great.  Does not take up as much room.  I got the fastest one they had and have been able to do everything on it I did on the desktop.

I do not own a laptop yet, I think I would like both.  Laptop is nice to be able to use anywhere, and working from home is nice, would be able to work outside on nice days.

I used to love my desk top till my so called computer guy said he fixed it but it sucked worse LMAO so now my lap top gets more use it is so much more convenient at times LOL

I like both. Desktops are good because they are usually bigger. Our desktop has a nice screen and a nice printer that we can use. I can't print from my laptop though. I like laptops because you can carry it around with you and use it almost anywhere. I have my laptop with me right now in my room sitting on my bed while I am watching t.v. I also like laptops because you can take them with you when you travel.

Personally, I think a desktop is better. Although a laptop is more convenient most cannot do all the same that a desktop does.  I like the fact that laptops are portable and easy to carry.  But I'd rather work on my desktop where I know anything I want to do I can do.

I would have to say my laptop.   It doesn't take up as much room, I can move it anywhere in the house and take it with me.  It's just easier to have for me.

A laptop is better because you can take it where ever you want to go.

I agree plus i don't really use my computer much so i like be able to pull out my laptop when i need it and being able to put it away when im done beats having to keep dusting a desktop sitting in a corner.
