We should share funny stories of running into super socially akward people. I'm always running into them, I guess because I dress differently.
My first week of college I was chilling on my laptop and this guy in this floor-length black coat came up to me and he said (In the most ridiculous voice) "I do not recognize you. I am Bryant. And you are?" ..."I'm Jessica." "Hello Jessica!" And then he held out his hand, so I went to shake it and he held it like I was a dainty little maiden and he was my prince and he said "Welcome to the anime club!" I was like : ..."I'm not in the anime club." And he just stared at me like his brain just broke and it was silent. And then I was like "I'm just hanging out here because I'm hanging out with my friends and I'm just into Japanese alternative fashion.." And he just started laughing. And kept laughing. Louder and louder. And I was staring at him wondering when he was going to stop and why the *bleep* he was laughing. And then he said "Well, if you are into Japanese alternative fashion, then you will fit in just fine. That is enough." And then he walked away.
So basically, creeper comes up to me and welcomes me to the anime club, I tell him I'm not in the anime club, and he leaves still thinking that I am in the anime club. What? I was under the impression that to be in the anime club you should.. like anime. I don't want to sit and listen to people talk about something I'm not into.
