I had a bag of TGIF cheese sticks at my house and I could not wait to get home and eat them- I know that is soooo sad.

Typically I drink a cup of tea - non-caffinated.  When I'm really treating myself, I lightly toast some sour dough bread, lightly buttered.  Mmmmm - tasty treat before bed.

It's almost midnight here and I'm thinking of eating something.  I have stuff for a salad but....nawww  I Have some fruit....nope   Some chips and Coke....yup  My favorite snack is leftover cold pizza with hot sauce...yum  Don't dare eat that just before bedtime or I'll be up an hour later with heart burn bad.

I'm with kapeth12, a hot cup of Constant Comment tea and some sourdough toast is a great midnight snack.

I usually raid the cookie jar and then the sour gummies in my Son's room. I watch those cooking shows at night and get so hungry.

I find that brushing my teeth and having some water helps a little.  My motivation is that I don't want to brush and mouth rinse again!

I try to not indulge but I do on occasion. I probably indulge in cereal, ice cream, and other sweets. I love sweets and indulge in them.

Lately I have had the power because I am trying to lose weight for my wedding. So I do not have any or else I reach for something way healthy like fruit.

I tend to eat throughout the day.  When I feel a crave, I go for it.

Until a couple of months ago, I used to make caramel at midnight. Then I started going to bed earlier. If I'm not awake at midnight, I can't have a midnight snack.

First of all,  Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, angie!  I'm really happy for you!   :)

As for late snacks, I try to keep cereal, pretzel sticks, tostidos, or bagels on hand.  I also like hot tea or hot chocolate then, too.
  ;)

Some nights I can fight the craze and other nights I can not fight it. They say give in because you could end up eating more calories trying to avoid the foods that you are crazing. the hardest time for me to aviod crazings is when I am stressed and trying to do school work. the food relives stress and makes school work easier for me.
