well i have my card set up on fusioncash diretd so I will always have my money! plus my real job is set up to my card!

that youve connected your green dot with your bank account?
i didnt know that was possible.... but more importantly..... WHY would you want do that?
just trying to understand what youre talking about.

Im curious as to why one would go thru all that trouble when you can just open a bank account..get a debit card...and use that without any crazy maintanence fees....if anything..i would go with an Account Now card..since its made for folks that cant get bank accounts..i.e illegal immigrants...deadbeat dads...'challenged'  people that dont know how to balance a bank book...and tax evaders..etc

I had a greendot card..the maintanence fees ate up the remaining balance on the card..something i never have to worry about with a REAL banks debit card...

  after reading this one my head is spinning lol.. sure glad I dont get those prepaid cards too dam confusing. and I agree if you have an account why would you want a prepaid card anyway? I have a pay pal debit/credit card. so I can be safe when I buy from sites. Pay pal always backs up your purchases.. if you get screwed somehow pay pal investigates and will always refund your loss. Pay pal is the way to go
 but I like to have my cash out on here directed.

I am really OFFENDED by this last comment----we have account now for my 18 year old daughter because it is a PRE PAID card and she can not spend more than what she has.  She is in college and this gives her a better handle on spending her money, and if she spends it all it is gone, no NSF fees, no worries for taking care of an NSF fee.
Account not is JUST not for your above mentioned people, it is also for GOOD, HONEST, RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE who wish to take precautions with their teenage kids!!!!!!!!!!!

About bank accounts

My son has an Account Now card also...but since he has known how to count since grade school and knows the consequences of overdrawing an account..etc....it remains in an drawer..-it was an offer on a another GPT site-, he doesnt need such a card...he has bank accounts....one he has had since he was six...and if i found out all the lessons i had taught him regarding finances had gone in one ear an out the other...that would offend me....
