Tip for new flash game!

Don't use your hammer, keep your finger on the up arrow to jump and use the left and right arrows to move around. This way it makes it harder for the aliens to bite you, and the bombs do all the work!

i just ended up beating the score earlier, but i think i used a different strategy for this. i think you do need the hammer but you should really only use it for the really slow ones that come and only when in very small numbers. i found out that you can go off one side of the screen and come out the other and the aliens won't follow you, which i think is very useful for evading.
also, remember to whack the bombs to blow them up, and when the ufo's come simply duck to avoid getting shot. the game is pretty simple and it only took me 3 tried to get the 6000 points. hope this is some more advice that will help you guys out.

Also took me 3 times to get the high score, it's very frustrating to see your character miss. Also the going through the screen helped as well. If your about to die or have low health kill the aliens and then let the ufo hit you, a medical pack will appear if you have 2 to 3 bars of health left!!!!!!!!

Sweet.....I didn't know the screen looped around. All I did was hold down the right and up arrow keys the whole time. I got to 8000 before they finally bit me enough times to kill me. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, now I feel really stupid! I could only score 4 points, I had no clue of how to play, I even read the directions. Thanks for the tips, gonna see if I can at least double my 4. LOL

Thanks for the tips.  I am really awful at the shoot-em-up games but I did manage to get my 50 cents by just holding down the up arrow and right arrow and completely ignoring the hammer.

Wow! Thanks for the advice! I have never been able to get my score on the flash games high enough for a bonus to be given! Maybe I will give this one a try and see how it goes! All the tips are appreciated, so thanks again!
