This is a great service, my mom (who is a senior herself) delivers and loves each of her "customers".
she chats with them to make sure everything is fine and it is nice for her to be out and enjoying their company all the while delivering a hot meal to them.

I have been looking for volunteering opportunities. Think I might give this one a try. Always good to be a blessing to others

My neighbor get meals on wheels and its the highlight of her day.  She gets a social call along with the meal.  She wants to stay at hoome.  Everyone in our neighborhood is pretty good about visiting.  But when fall sports are rolling and busy, I know she's not getting the attention she gets during the spring and summer.  Its a great gift!!
