It is against the rules to post links in the forums.  You can find me.  Look for me on Facebook or just google my name: Catherine D. White
If you take the time to find me, then I know you are serious about making some extra cash.

funny, I was just posting about this very thing on a similar post. You just never know what is going to pay or not because everyone is different, so are their tools, resources and marketing venues. Frankly I think that the direct sales/home business programs where you have to pay over $5 to join is a waste. The alternative? Affiliate networks. Little do people know that through this one that I've been using for almost a decade you can become an Avon and Mark affiliate for free and you don't have to pay $7 a month for a website that doesn't pay (that was what pissed me off about Avon - so I pay $7 for a website and don't get any checks for what my site, that I pay this monthly fee for if I make sales? WHAT A RIP OFF!!). So its easier to join affiliate networks where you have a choice of MANY companies for free and you can build your business up around that for free. Such a better alternative. I do join direct sales companies, but if their fee is over $5 - forget it, even the free programs are too much of a risk sometimes if you don't make money on them..... This is the basics of what I have learned in my 10 years experience. Then, I get paid weekly on Friday through MyLikes - I've been paid there several times. I was shocked and blown away a few months ago with a direct sales site I joined for $5 and hardly promoted to find out I had made a $116 sale and made about a $23 commission. You just never know....
Nope!

forgot something - its a better investment to take the money you would have spent on joining these sites and put them towards advertising - because that is the first step beyond joining a company. You don't have that, you don't have anything - the best home biz in the world is not going to succeed if you're free ads suck - you need something of an ad budget even if its just $5 a month. PM me - I could point you all in great directions for free advertising - some of which are mine so I know they work well!!!
Nope!

I hope this works.  I am new to working from home.  I lost my job last week and started searching for another job, but I am enjoying all of the free time with my 7 year old.  She is enjoying the time together as well.  I am looking to do as much as possible to make this happen for me.

There are so many people looking for something legitimate to earn some extra cash.  There are many free sites, like FusionCash, which can earn you a little extra money.  But, let's face it, you are not going to earn enough to quit your day job.  I disagree if you have to pay more than $5 don't do it.  As the old saying goes, you have to spend money to make money.

I have invested in two very good sites and I am making money.  But, you can't make your investment and do nothing.  To succeed, it takes work.  I think that is the biggest mistake people make, they invest their money and expect the rest to fall in to their lap.  It just doesn't happen that way.  I would rather have a broke person who has to scrape up the investment than a rich person who just throws his money in a pot.  The broke person will be much more motivated to work and succeed.

If you make a $5 investment, can you really expect a large return?  I think you have to dream much bigger than that to succeed.

That's what my spouse and I do.  We join free affiliate programs, because you can still sell a great product, without having a monthly quota to buy, and some of them you can buy at a discount if you are an affiliate.

We also make use of Amazon Associates, Google Adsense, use WordPress blogs, Blogspot, Squidoo, and popular alternative health sites and forums.  The other forums allow us to post our links in our sigs, because most of them are generic.

We get sales from people, we've never heard of too.  Between the two of us, we have one of the largest health food and products store online with all of it combined.

And linking up and synching up all your social networking sites together via various .rss feeds, get you alot of hits too.  You can rss synch wordpress blogs into blogspot, into MyBlogLog which will .rss that feed back into your Yahoo Pulse, and you can do the same with Windows Live profile.  You can feed your Flickr into most stuff, and synch your various public social networks into Gravatar (comes free with WordPress hosted blogs).  It's amazing the technology you can do and get more hits.

I'm teaching a friend and one of my nieces how to do all of this too.

We call it planting seeds and letting them grow.   :P

I have actually found a few sites that really do pay and do not require any investment.  Although I cannot post any links on FC (adainst the rules)  I do have a blog on Blogspot "What Really Works?" that shows step-by-step how I make money online with some payment proofs.  I used to think that all Work-From-Home jobs were scams, but that is so not true.  Although I am not rich I am making a good decent side income that definitely comes in handy.  But with every type of job it does require some type of investment whether it be time consuming or advertising fees, etc.

My next project is to buy my own Ad exchange site with my earnings that I have made and it is very inexpensive.  But It does take time and patience as long as dedication to be successful.  Hope this helps ~ Good Luck!

I signed a for a couple of home based jobs and paid the small fee after that they wanted more money. Also, I didn't like the links that they wanted me to post. The second gave me a lot of misleading information in which several small fees was taken out of my checking account when they told me all I had to pay was $2.97. When I cancelled I did get all my money back, thank God. So far FusionCash is the only promising one.

Come on people, use your heads.  This isn't rocket science.
1.  Don't give anyone access to your checking account.
Okay you have to verify your Paypal account or your Alertpay account but that is it.  These are legitimate online banking sources.
Just be smart.  The easiest way is to find someone who is making it online and follow their lead.  Find a mentor.
