This sounds silly but if you have a Goodwill near you...
They have an area with bedding/rugs/fabric, I've found some really cool fabric that I used for seat covers. Just a thought.

Great idea.  Any thrift store should have sheets, blankets, or other outfits you can use and transform into other articles.

Make sure you have bail money with you in case you like this idea......lol  Seriously, Wal Mart is probably your best bet.  Sometimes fabric stores have a bargain bin where all the left over remnants are sold in 1-5 yard rolls.  I've gotten many pieces of fabric like that.  Especially for quilt tops and throw pillows.

Thanks for the ideas .... I did try walmart in my area but they haven't got much at all .... I'm going to try another walmart today & I think I will go to Goodwill too.  I never thought of goodwill for fabric.
