I just cannot fathom how ANYONE....even a liberal.....can continue to "blame Bush" after this long of an Obama run bureaucracy. His campaign speech where he declared that "we live in the GREATEST country in the world...now help me CHANGE it" dramatically illustrates that he is an expert in doublespeak. Change we can believe in has rapidly become CHANGE we do not want or need. We can no longer continue to "spend" our way to prosperity. Government throwing (de-valued) money at a problem has NEVER solved ANYTHING. The public school system is a prime example. Has anyone been in a high school lately???????? Discipline is virtually unheard of in our schools (and our homes) because some liberal thinker decided FOR ALL OF US that the kids should be in control. Test scores continue to plummet in relation to other countries and our children are being left WAY BEHIND. Money IS NOT THE ANSWER. Obama can continue to have the feds print more paper (useless) money and continue to bail out whichever industry he picks today but IT WILL NOT HELP.
LET COMMON SENSE PREVAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teacher Unions care about the quality of life for teachers, not the quality of life for education. That's our biggest problem in my opinion as far as education. Remove the union => increase the quality of education.

Obvious example, private school and homeschooled students suceed far more than public school educated children.

First of all I didn't really like Bush either, but quit putting this all on him. He did not START 2 wars. The war was gonna happen whether Bush was president or not. We have paid close attention to the Middle East since 1948, because of the on going Arab Isreali conflict. The US's first invasion of Iraq was in 1979 bc of a hostage crisis. Which were American nationals working at the U.S. embassy in Tehran. All because the shah (king), who was overthrown in the revolution, was allowed to enter the U.S. for medical care. And they didn't like it! they were upset about the shah being in the U.S. and they stormed the American embassy the following month. They took and held hostage 66 of its employees. The crisis lasted 444 days, ending on Jan. 20, 1981. The reason for the US's second attack on Iraq, was led by George Bush Sr., in 1991. The Persian Gulf War was not only globally supported, but a globally involved attempt to run Iraq out of Kuwait, in order to prevent Iraq from another long term war, like the eight year long war against Iran they had just been pulled out of 2 years prior by the UN.  I swear, I've said all this before... maybe not.... lmao!! Do you really think that Bush is why we're at war, and that he's the only reason they've attacked us?? seriously, they've(terrorists) been planning this for a looooong time!!

anyways, Obama has not done anything to better this country. IMO. He's done nothing but make it worse. Its all a bunch of empty promises! Obama has said his intentions were to redistribute wealth as a means to help the poor, the underprivileged... but his unstated intentions are the same as all politicians of his ilk; "to reach into as much private wealth as possible as a means towards expanding State power and control."   Hes all for socialism, he's implementing a communist America. The ingredients are in place for a dangerous transformation of our country into something we will all quickly regret and I don't like it. you really shouldnt either. Every time Obama opens his mouth he sounds like he wants to create a more socialistic government. He's for the redistribution of wealth from middle-class workers and producers to the already rich Wall Street bankers and financial executives. Now Obama is hinting about the government running our banks when they can't even balance their own budget and their wasteful spending is out of control...  :angry7:  As the candy coating wears off in the next few years, my hope is that more people will begin to see how dangerous this man really is.  Barack Hussein Obama, IMO, is the most dangerous and one of the most thoroughly dishonest presidents this country has ever had.

That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.

You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into in the first place.

All presidents have "messes", but I, too, disagree with those out there who still put the blame on Bush.  Obama, in his first 2 years, has made a bigger mess on his own and appears to have no plans to straighten it out. He (and Pelosi, and others) want this country to be totally dependant on the government, for one.  He is slighting Israel, for another.  Healthcare...... I could go on, but don't want to get into too much hot water right now.

Only time will tell... "W" did 8 years and Obama is still in his 1st term.  It's too early to call and history will be the true judge a few years from now.  I think both of them love the country: Bush wanted to do what was best and Obama still does.  Just because they have opposing views on the best way to make America great, it doesn't mean they don't both want America to succeed.

Pointing fingers really doesn't do any good.  If all sides would get together--Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Tea Party, etc--and try to cooperate, the country would be better off.  Unfortunately, the blame game is hot and heavy and elections are about tearing down instead of building up.  As long as this continues to go on, it will be a slow recovery.  Stagnation is the only winner with a divided government.

Obama has gone from high popularity to just blahhh. I think that Bush will be looked at as better by the end of Obama' presidency.
