That is very hard to answer. Its depends if both of you can handle it when you break up. I got married to my best friend and we have had arguments like you wouldnt believe and it did worked even after almost getting a divorce. On the other hand I have my friend whom she dated her best friend and they hate each other. Its how open minded both of you are.

ok thats true...sometimes u share alot of things with that person as a friend and we dont do it anymore as partners.....i dated my bestfriend and it was a disaster,now we hate each other to the guts lol

Yeah, i dated my best friend and now we are married.  We have been together for 9 years  You know the good and bad from this person. You can talk to this person without a problem. we hve a new born now. We know what it is to go through the good and bad and stil make it!

wow ur lucky 2 do that.. ;) whenever i find myself dating a bestfriend it ends up being akward  :bs: ..hate that 4 me, but hey looks like its da complete 360 for u! thats great!  :D

It could be a great idea if it ends up in getting married but could be very bad if u end up breaking up.

I say no, because as best friends you guys know each other good and bad side, know when each other lying, etc. He/ she going to bring up things that suppose to leave in the past, so it's not going to work out, but that's just my opinion.
