You are confused. To be agnostic means you believe in what is real and provable... "God" is not provable. The burden of proof does NOT rest on the nonbelievers  but on the believers . I for one and sick to death of people trying to push their   religion on me and on others. I don't take it from my family and I certainly will not take it from a stranger!

First, not all religion is 

Second, not everyone is trying to convert everyone else.

Third, you don't think you're doing the same thing here:

Churches are nothing more then brainwashing cults that prey on clueless, mindless, and those down on their luck. Be GLAD not to be apart of their hogwash!

That is right! Brainwashing only works on the weak-minded!

Whenever someone believes they are right, they will use nearly any means necessary to prove they are right.  It is not right, however, to belittle someone for believing differently, IMO.

No, not confused: Agnostic is


1. somebody denying God's existence is provable: somebody who believes that it is impossible to know whether or not God exists

 
2. somebody denying something is knowable: somebody who doubts that a question has one correct answer or that something can be completely understood
 
The thing is we don't have to prove God is there, we are happy just believing. It isn't a burden to believe. You are in a religious discussion!! No one is trying to push their beliefs on anyone, but we are talking about beliefs and our God and all. Them telling you what they believe and about their God is not pushing beliefs.

You are pushing beliefs as well then by telling people to go play with our invisible friend. That is your belief, that he is invisible, which he isn't, he is in another realm.

I find it puzzling that we as Christians are "pushing" our religion on everybody, and when an unbeliever pushes their atheistic or agnostic views, it's called enlightenment?  All we have to do is claim we believe in God, and it's "pushing" our beliefs.  

The obvious acceptable postings to unbelievers, is No posting at all from believers!  If you don't take this from anyone, and your sick to death of it, then what are you doing on a public forum?  This forum is for EVERYBODY to have an opportunity to post what they believe....or lack thereof.  

Also, your name calling, and/or negative titles towards believers show no manners, and a need to be in control, even if you have to stoop to verbal abrasive monologue to do so.

The burden of proof has been hashed out numerous times on other threads.  Very good discussions.  I happen to have seen you on a couple of them.
