i liked him to start with but he promises to many lies. like to help on health insurance. my dad lost his job.. we had to pay 1500 dollar just for a month and it took them 2 months to get it straight.... that did not help us in our time of need.

it is not a matter of what we think of him. I know he is a Marxist communist because he admitted it in his book. I know his healthcare bill is a socialist communist plan to force everyone to get health insurance, and thus control everyone's lives. I know he is forcing the country into bankruptcy to get the opportunity for total communist takeover. He made history not for being the first black president, but for being the first openly communist president. So what can I think of a person who finally has made the USA a communist country?

Obama has not done anything to better this country. IMO. He's filled the people's heads with empty promises. He has spent more money in the first 2yrs on vacations and nonsense. Obama has said his intentions were to redistribute wealth as a means to help the poor, the underprivileged, etc... but his unstated intentions are the same as all politicians of his ilk; "to reach into as much private wealth as possible as a means towards expanding State power and control."  He's for the redistribution of wealth from the middle-class workers and producers to the already rich Wall Street bankers and financial executives. Whether Obama is intentionally implementing a communist America or whether he has a communist agenda, or whether Obama follows the teachings of radical community organizer Saul Alinsky, is actually not as important as Obama’s actual actions as president. He's shown us what he is capable of, and its not going to be good for this country.

I think he's great! why wouldn't i love a wall street boot-licking president? he puts wall street and big corporation's profits before the u.s. people. he lies, breaks the constitution, supported illegal spying on the american people (the "patriot" act), supported the banker's bailout, (which, by the way, ROBBED us of trillions of dollars.) Then sat by and let them loan OUR money BACK to us at interest, let them hoard the money and buy out other banks, insurance companies, media empires, etc., etc...Now why wouldn't i trust that he'll change america and support him?

I think he is doing the best he can do (the best ANYONE can do) right nw. People seem to blame Obama when we wouldn't even be in this situation if it wasn't for the Bush administration. Bush had EIGHT YEARS to turn this country around, but every year it just got worse. Obama became President at a very difficult time. BUT, he has only been the President for a year and a half. You cannot actually expect someone to change this country in that short amount of time. And in that short amount of time, he HAS done a lot. But, the media chooses not to focus on that. People seem to forget that the President really doesn't have that much power. If the congress doesn't want something done, it doesn't get done. No matter how much Obama wants it to happen. Give him more time. I know it's easy to judge, but you've got to give someone more time than a year and a half.

(And he hasn't made "empty promises". Everything he's said he would do, he's been trying to make happen. You have to be extremely naive to believe that everything he's promised would happen so quickly. He even said that it wouldn't be easy.)

And this is Obama's fault?  The health care system in this country had been screwed up for decades.  He finally got something passed that so many people were against and people want to call him a communist because he wanted a system that was better than what we have now?  It just barely passed it's not going to be changed overnight.

I couldn't agree with this more.

The point you're trying to make is missed however; people have this blind support of him that he can do zero wrong.
The problem that a lot of people miss is, that in theroy this goes back way before Bush, the bubble however, burst while on his watch. Not saying he was a great president or anything. His unconstitutional wars, TARP, and other bailout programs have hurt the economy more than help, but Obama has done nothing more than continue these exact same things. He's no difference if you actually can look at it with an unbiased look.
He hasn't done anything different. He's still warmongering outside of the US, he's still bailing out companies that deserve and need to fail, he's still spending our childrens future at an unprecidented rate.

What gets me though is how people fail to see any difference. Most with this blind faith of him seem to think he can do nothing wrong, when in my opinion, this si exactly bush's third term. Nothing has changed except become much much worse. Unemployment is still at record highs and our taxes are still beyond control. We spend more money than we take in and yet they want to continue these failed policies. The lobbyists control us, and while people seem to think this healthcare boondoggle was a great idea; why are my rates going up if I take the letter I received from my provider stated. Why are companies going to stop allowing health care? Why are 1099's going to be required now of all transactions concerning gold? There's a lot more out there than what you can get through fox/msnbc/cnn and until people stop following him blindly we're exactly where we were 2 years ago which is where we were 2 years before that.

There is zero difference between him and the previous president.
