What is your favorite holiday?

I love Christmas.. I think it is the most important, at least for me it is. I celebrate the birth of my savior Jesus Christ.

All Hallows Eve is my favorite holiday. So much going on with out all the rushing like Thanksgiving and Christmas times.

Thanksgiving is my favorite. Christmas is close 2nd but usually see more family on Thanksgiving.

Mine would have to be Thanksgiving because of all the good food and I normally only see my sister around Thanksgiving because she lives far away.

@angelabarnett90 - Thanksgiving, too.  My siblings (3 siblings, 4 of us total) live literally in "4 corners."  I live in Minnesota, my brother lives in Texas, my 1st sister lives in California and my second sister lives in Virginia...its literally "4 corners!!!!!"  We fly into Missouri to see each other and our parents and all the 45 people in our family!  WAY to much!

My favorite holiday would definitely have to be Christmas.  Nothing can replace the look on my kid's faces on Christmas morning!

I love family gathering so I would say Thanksgiving.  Christmas to me is for the kids though I do like getting in touch with friends and relatives that I haven't seen in a long while.  BTW, I just celebrated Ochi Day which is a Greek Holiday!  On October 28, 1940, Greece refused allow Hitler, backed by Italy, to occupy  Greece.  They were not about to surrender to Italy.  Men and women had gathered at the borders to fight off German soldiers for a period of six months.  Because the weapons used by the Greeks were no match to the automatic weapons used by the Germans, every last one of those Greek citizens died resisting to surrender their country.  Today, Ochi Day is a Greek national holiday and Greek Orthodox churches hold special services.  Every year, my son's Greek school participates in a little program given by the students in that school.
