This is NOT meant to offend anyone... just got it in an email, and had to share it!    


If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!

A United States Marine was taking some college courses
between assignments. He had completed 20 missions in Iraq
and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who
was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in.
He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "GOD, if you are real, then
I want you to knock me off this platform... I'll give you exactly 15 min."
The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes
went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting."


It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got
out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him;
knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.


The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.
The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there
looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to,
noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked,
"What in the world is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The Marine calmly replied,
"GOD was too busy today protecting America's
soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and
act like an idiot. So He sent me."


The classroom erupted in cheers!

That was a pretty good one.  People should respect other people's religions.  Unless it was a philosophy or religion-based class and the professor was trying to teach a lesson, then the professor was abusing his position over the students.

Oh man!  I would like to shake that soldiers hand! God Bless him! That is so awesome! So many people who say they don't believe in God really do! I never realized how ugly soooooooooooo many people could get about it until I started social networking.  It's like people turn into evil when they are saying there's no God.  They get so mean! Got to make you wonder why.

agree. My husband is a soldier and so is my brother in law. so for those who believe and prayer for our soldiers thanks. and those who dont but wish for the safe return of our troops thanks. in this, the teacher should've known better, he had to of known that a soldier was in the classroom. lol liked it.

This was great. I am so sick and tired of hearing people take the Lord's name in vane, say He isn't real and take God out of school. We are to respect others religion but when it comes to Christians talking about God, we get yelled at, made of fun and some cases hurt and/or killed. We need to put God back into everything. I think people will see things better, we would treat others better. What are people going to do on judgment day?

i believe what your saying. but i dont think it should be put back into everything. i think takin it out of alot is wrong because God is what founded us. it is what started us. Like with the ten commandments being taken down went to far. it was not hurting no one and it was not pressing anyone into anything. I looked to them as morals because i am not a God person. i dont think having god in everything would make people treat other better, i think that is a perception.  im not a god person but i respect those who are.  and i almost completely agree with you
