 - First game starts 3/16 - You are able to sign up afterwards and still be okay as later rounds are worth more. But filling the entire sheet out is the best way to go!
 - Top 25 will win a prize (if I win, then I will be removed and everyone will move up a slot)

I missed this also because I could not figure out why it redirected me to a yahoo page when it said that it was taking me to the rules, and you have to have a yahoo log in to continue, this one doesn't seem too logical or totally clear or fair, but oh well shall have to wait for a different one. I probably would not have done too well anyways as I generally only follow football and not BBall. Good luck to those who did figure it out.

No, you dont wait untill the games are played to select winners, you have to do it before hand! but The first game is not the 16th it is actually going on right now, it started today the 15th at 12:15 eastern (9:15 pacific)
I dont think anyone can sign up anymore, as Yahoo said the deadline was 12:15 eastern today.. but after this weekends games (the first 2 rounds) you are able to make a second chance bracket for the remaining rounds but I dont know for sure if thats what Kohler meant when he said you could still sign up later or not

That seems pretty good, 56.25% AND you figured out how to even play, that in itself should be worth something, I freaked out being redirected to a yahoo page and figured it was spam. I don't recall that we have ever been redirected to something outside of FC before so I was not going to establish a yahoo email and login just to do this, it does seem really odd and in some ways not too fair to require that without a prior explanation, plus from what I read very few folks would have had enough time to begin to participate, also not really equitable or fair as someone pointed out the games had already started and many could not register or whatever as it was already started. It appears to be put together at the last minute and rather sloppy. Or maybe I am just too dumb to understand. Oh well there will be more in the future.

Its just yahoo? I mean its free n all, but i guess a heads up would of been good for those who did not already have a yahoo account (many do tho).

And when I pointed out the games already started it was 2 days after the promo was posted.. I think Kohler thought the games started on friday when they really started thursday, a simple mistake, but unfortunantly you had to jump on this one as there was only a 2 day window to join. It did seem kinda rushed, but then again its March Madness, the teams were only announced sunday and Kohler put this up tuesday.. only way to do it was to rush it really

Bump on all those comments!  I managed to establish my bracket, but the instructions on Yahoo gave no clue on how to fill the bracket in.  Kudoos to those who were able to figure it out and fill in their bracket before noon on the 15th.    I'll define being able to figure it out as part of the contest -- and I bombed out.  Oh, well.  There'll be more sports contests when March Madness is over.

Firestorm~ I got to the bracket & tried to install my picks & nothing's happening. Do, have to wait before I can put in my picks. With my luck, I probably messed up again.  I'm thinking of seriously backing down on this.

Well what happened was you were a little late.. Yahoo makes you pick all the games before the first one starts, and the first one started March 15 @ 12:15pm eastern...   

I am not sure but next week I think Kohler may be continuing this promo for the later rounds by doing a "Second Chance Bracket" which is the same thing we are doing now only you start making your picks after the first 2 rounds with a clean slate. IF he is in fact doing that then you can sign up for that no problem.
Sorry you did not get you picks in in time, hopefully you are able to do all the promos from here on out tho!

Thanks, I'm thinking I'll observe & learn as this goes on. This is the first time I've ever joined anything like this so it's very intimidating & scary but if learn, I'll be prepared for it next year!

Missouri losing completely busted my bracket since I had them going all the way to the finals (but losing thankfully)

Gonna have to wait till next round this weekend to figure out the top 25 of the week, it could be anyone!

I told the guys they should have let me do my bracket....then go thru their's picking every one of my winners to lose...LOL....they would be sitting high in the brackets that way...Bahahaha...oh well...can't be a sore loser...it's all part of the fun of the game...

this was a poorly executed promotion. leading us to a yahoo page, multiple id's being created, I hope that in the future FC will reconsider doing this type of a promotion, especially when it is posted with such a short amount of time to figure out and initiate, and if you can't get it figured out, then keeps you blocked out for several weeks. Not really sportsman like treatment to the FC members.
