Unfortunately most of the time when you complete mobile offers you DO get charged a monthly fee, even if you text STOP back to the number. This is because you have already been charged for one month, but they will not charge you for another if you reply STOP like it usually says to on the text. Read the fine print beside the asterisks. Which mobile offers have you done? I can look at them and tell you if you will be charged. For example, you will be credited $7.20 if you do the "Get Bonus American Idol Ringtones or Cool Text Services Now!" offer, and $7.20 is pretty much the most you can get for a mobile offer. You receive $7.20 for doing the offer, but are charged $9.99 to do it as well, so you are actually losing money ($2.79).
I try to stay away from mobile offers due to this! If you don't mind the monthly charge, by all means, continue doing the offers. I just wanted to give you a heads up. And I think the offers are supposed to credit instantly.
