Sometimes not all the parts are there
If at first you don't succeed, reread the "tools needed" page
If you still don't succeed, just turn to page two
Duct tape is your friend
Sometimes you just have to toss the instruction manual out the window
Just remember, diagrams and words don't always go together
You can never have too much glue
All problems can be solved with a hammer, some nails and some duct tape
All instruction manuals look better when they have color pictures
Sometimes following the pictures makes more sense than following the written instructions
Keep all receipts
Cheap good, cheap bad
If the project doesn't look like the picture, put a plant on top of it
If the shelves are a little crooked, put it against the wall
If the shelves are really crooked, the floor's not level
A little paint and no one will ever see the nail holes
A little decorative touch will hide any construction flaws
You will always be short one peg - so improvise!
You can build anything with a hammer, a Phillips screwdriver, a couple of screws, some paint and a little imagination.
The furniture you build is never ugly
When all else fails, take it apart and start over
"Pre-drilled holes" means you're going to need to do some serious work
"Pre-set nail holes" aren't pre-set
The pieces are always heavier once they're out of the box
"Easy to install paneling" isn't easily installed
Nails will solve any construction problem
