I do agree ..But I still think I owe myself and him a chance to redeem the wrongs he has done..And if he ends up like a bush then I will say I was wrong in my vote..I gave bush the benefit of the doubt the whole time in office and was left feeling stupid and mad..But I made a mistake in believing to much..I believe in that we put to much umm stock in out presidents to be all honest and perfect and well our government has a lot of say in what they do so it falls on all not just one person..So if I am wrong and he does not redeem himself then I would totally feel failed but I would also know it is always a possibility no matter who we put in office its a game of Russian roulette..I think McCain would have screwed us worse he gave me a bad bad vibe.. :peace:
Osama i mean Obama, McCain, Clinton, they were all going off the same agenda, they were all gonna do the same thing. But i can understand where you're coming from, butterfly, I would have voted Obama if i was able. I thought he was going to bring change and hope, problem is, i had formed my opinion based on what he said, and never really looked at what he was doing. There's still too many people on the bandwagon and don't know what the hell's goin' on outside of the clips on the news

I agree the clips on the news go for who they want the public to vote for and who they support then when they think they were wrong they slam and show all the bad they can find..It is sad really..We the people get duped but we have the right to vote but do we really I mean would a good guy great candidate who would be for the people and people only really make it to the ballot..Sadly most likely not unless he licked congress and the governments *bleep* to fool them first lol

I support Obama. The machinery for the ghastly mess we are in was already in motion by 2008; he has been doing the best anyone could do to clean it up. Steps have been taken to prevent further irresponsible gambling by Wall Street and large banks. His main problem is that he was elected 8 years too late. Bush recklessly threw away the Clinton surplus, drove our financial car off the cliff, and landed us at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. That's what Obama is trying to dig us out of, not that he's getting much help from his fellow Americans. For example, he initially supported single payer health care, which would vastly reduce our costs by having one bureaurcracy instead of hundreds of differently-organized ones, and negotiating better drug prices. Americans were ideologically opposed to single payer, so now we have something that is more expensive and won't even cover everyone. He had to do this to appease the people who wanted to continue the old system of letting people w/o health care just #&%*ing die. This is, after all, a democracy.

I have a lot more to say about other parts of your post but don't have time right now. This I do want to address:
Quote
Americans were ideologically opposed to single payer, so now we have something that is more expensive and won't even cover everyone.
You better recheck that one. The Universal Health Care Reform act, that was passed 'illegally' through Congress is forced health care. It WILL cover everyone and if you do not take it, you will pay a hefty fine.
You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.

there is a lot wrong with your statemet. first, obama has already showed us that he is simply working for the same elite bush served. you are being fooled if you really think he's trying to help us. fist, we already pay all kinds of taxes on health care, so that should't be an issue. Canada has free health care for god sakes. he's obviously just getting away with what he's doing. let me explain. He is putting banks in control of our nation. how are you looking past that just because he makes empty promise after empty promise?

Explain to me something, how is the negativety, mind blowing statistics that go on for days and days, hidden adgendas, and a list of undone tasks that everyone is upset about going to fix what hasn't happend from this Presidency faster????? Not a damn thing.........

Sorry that you are dissapointed in our President, but no matter how much reserch you do, or how much you dread the future under his presidency, it will never change the impatience, ignorance, and selfishness in America. Its unbelieviable to me that people do not recognize how good we have it here, and continue to ask for more and more.  The need for immediate, sweeping gratification, impossible standards people want met by the President, taking on a previous undone presidency, and a Republican party that from the beginning-AND I MEAN FROM THE BEGINING of Obama taking office~ no matter what the President and Democrats want to see eye to eye about, WILL NOT go along with ANYTHING from this presidency-period, is why his presidency is "failing"!!
Rachel Maddow said this(in so many words) and she was straight up and to the point.

When a political party has the preexisting plan to ruin someone's legacy, in every way possible (ie politically, personally, religiously, ect.) they will eventually succeed in disillusioning the public as they see fit, for their own selfish interests because they choose to.  It doesn't matter who takes office. In other words, there are sore loosers this time around, and this should not be, on either side, especially when it comes to the future of America and its citizens well being.

How exactly are you going to have a working presidency when one side is still seething over not winning the presidential election, and wasting their time talking about everything that Obama is doing wrong today, or will do wrong in the future to America??? Its toxic and unecessarry for all citizens in the United States to have this happen at all.  Satisfying one sector only leads to more unsatisfied people in another sector elsewhere, then the toxic politics begin. Its a downward spiral that never stops until someone else assumes responsibility, and then it immediately begins again!!! So I say, what is the freakin' point?
His presidency was planned to be doomed from the get-go by others.

Ask yourself this one...out of all the problems we have here in America, don't you think some people, somewhere else in this world have it much worse than we do right now?? I think we are pretty damn lucky to be where we are at right now, and I don't blame the President for any of our problems, he mearly stepped in to the muck already smothered everywhere from a previous presidency, and politics just make it all the more of a mess for him.

So you see, no matter what happenes, Americans will continue to be selfish about things like this, and it will never change. The president is only one man-and snappin' his fingers aint gonna change a thing!!  There will always be conspiracy theorist out there, don't believe everything you hear (Glenn Beck is CRAZY!!!) Take stock of your life and everything around you, and make intelligent decisions about people. Don't be so quick to judge our president, unless you have run the country yourself. As far as the military goes, people choose to join of their own free will, to represent and/or fight for America, which means they have no choice but to go over seas, if called to duty by the president, plain and simple! It was their choice, whether or not they survive or not-remember-it was a choice. Please do not think that people's sons and daughters who pass away in battle overseas doesn't weigh heavy on his heart......he's not a robot, you know.

Guess what, if you and your family are safe and healthy here, and you make enough money to get by, you have your good days, and your bad days-but you are taken care of. I'd say he's doing a pretty good job, it could always be worse, you know.
All that negativety, not helping- just let it go.......someone else somewhere else has it worse than you.

I don't have unrealistic expectations for a president, and in no way did I expect Obama to totally fix our economy, he's the one who made that empty promise. I don't dislike because of his party, he's more socialist than he is liberal anyway. I'm a Republican but I can respect the views of democrats even if I disagree with most of them, the thing that's scary is the socialist plans like redistribution of wealth and how he is trying to take hold of businesses that are supposed to be separate from the government, not the mention healthcare. You think Glenn Beck is crazy because you're a liberal, what's so crazy about small government? We were founded on small government. Before all the welfare and help systems were put in people had to work for what they have, now there is little incentive considering everyone that doesn't have a job can just get by day to day on our tax dollar and government money that the government doesn't have. It's fine if you don't agree with Beck, he's extremely conservative which you obviously aren't, but if he's crazy for being so extreme Obama is as well for being the polar opposite. I agree that other countries suck, which why I DON'T want our country to become socialist like theirs. That's WHY they suck. Socialism does not include freedom. I refuse to support someone who supports redistribution of wealth, it is ABSOLUTELY unamerican. You have to realize that when Obama wants to redistribute the wealth, he isn't including himself or his elite buddies. Just because he's liberal doesn't make him right and it definitely doesn't mean we should stop researching it and talking about it, ignorance is certainly not bliss in this case.

At least  Mccain had some military experience, he was still a little liberal for my taste but I respect his policies so much more than Obama's because they went with our Constitution more...Where did Obama even come from??? It's absolutely ridiculous to elect someone who won't even prove he QUALIFIES to be president by presenting a birth certificate

I think your health care information is a little off...but I won't get into that because I think we should work for what we get and those doctors EARN that high salary and taking it away will only leave less incentive for anyone to go through the lengthy expensive schooling and training to become a doctor, furthermore the government can kiss my *bleep* for deciding anything FOR me, especially my healthcare.

Never said wa Obama is right or wrong, doesn't matter if I am liberal, I just want all of the negativety to stop, and selfishness to end. I take pride in my country, and everything it offers me. I do know this, I have no desire to stop researching or talking about the presidency, I am just trying to figure out one thing.....
How does all of the negativety play out in this situation?? What are we getting accomplished by assuming that our president does not have our best interest at heart, and bashing every move he makes??? NO ONE IS PERFECT, and neither is he. I believe people are just uncomfortable with him, because he is just a regular joe.

Glenn Beck is INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!  I do stand by that one though, just you wait, you will see. The MLK situation was only the beginning......

Then all of this extraneous b.s. about the presidents actions while in office does not matter.  It never ceases to amaze me that people who aren't directly affected by what's happening are the first to chime up, and those who are affected have nothing to say......Say something if a decision the president has made affected you personally!!!  No stats, no research, no conspiracies, no politics under the table. Otherwise, we are once again waisting our time with negativity......

i have done tons of research and yes there are stats, everyone in obama's council with a position of power is of Bildeberg Group (around 130 of the richest people on earth), Trilateral Commission (North American union, Europian Union, Asian union), And Council on Foreign Relations. Everyone is of all three groups simultaniously, only a few are of one or 2. He passes Banker's Bailout, the bankers hoard the money, lend our money back to us with interest, and buy insurance companies, businesses, banks, etc. WHY HAS NO ONE WENT TO JAIL??? They've stole trillions of dollars from the people, and obama is assisting them. How can you say there's no proof? It effects EVERYONE in the country. the Bilderberg Group has secret meetings not open to the public, and they are being allowed to influence politics in our country. The power is leaving the people and the banks will soon have it. O.B.A.M.A. - ONE BIG *bleep* MISTAKE, AMERICA!!!

Once again, How has this presidency affected you negatively- personally????? You can throw out stats and research all day long, but at the end of the day-you might get hired on at Fox News, but it doesn't change a thing.......If it hasnt affected you personally!
