Would you get jealous if your hubby had a female friend?

Well just putting this question out there to see what the rest of you think. I think not especially if he introduces you to her and tells you everything they talk about. Now if he's talking to her behind your back that's a different story. Sometimes guys need to listen to a woman's point of view on things. Although their wives may be telling them some of the same things they won't listen unless another woman tells them the same exact thing. Am I making sense? Lol! But anyway, just want to know what you think. Enjoy the evening everyone.

I would be a little jealous, but if the situation were as you describe, there would be no rational basis for that feeling.

I trust my husband very much, and for the most part, would not feel any jealousy. However, if she was all up on him, and he was receptive to her passes, then there would be some issues to work out. But, at the end of the night, he comes home to me and I have faith in him that if he did/does have a female friend, it is strictly friendship and nothing more.

I think if my husband has a female friend she should be mine too. I trust my husband but I think there are rules of appropriate behavior that should be observed between the opposite sexes in friendship. For example, my husband doesn't need to stay out all night with a female friend. Not that that automatically means anything is going on but it leaves room for suspicion and looks inappropriate.

I don't really have a problem with my husband having female friends but I like to get to know them myself and that way we can all hang out together.

I know id trust him... the only time id get jelous of a female friend is if he started saying "shes so hot" or "Ms so-and-so said i look good in this" or that sort of thing... THEN id be jelous because hed be listening to her and asking her for advice instead of me

I know you said husband. But with my man I trust him as he trusts me. I would not be jealous of any female friend he has. He is also not jealous of any of my guy friends which is good since my best friend is male.

I think having a female friend is ok but there should be appropriate behavior and bounderies set.

If he introduced me to her it would be different. It upsets me to find out he has been talking to her behind my back but its different if we all go out and hang out together.

It depends on how close of friends they are.  You can usually tell how things are "progressing", especially if you know someone very well.  It's one thing for him to have a woman at work that he talks to, but it's entirely another if they are hanging out after work or going out to lunch together every day or something like that.

It depend on what you said, and it also depends on how close they are exactly. And I'd still trust mine but if they were very close I probably would still be a little jealous.

I would have to say depends, my boyfrikend has had female friends, but has tried to cheat with most of them, so i really dont trust him with other females due to that reason, that has happened in the past, not recently due to him not talking to any females

I do get jealous. I can't help it. Sometimes I know it's silly but others i don't care. My boyfriend is really trustworthy but other girls can be skanky and just do things to see if they can get something and it's maddening. But I try to keep cool. But on the other hand my boyfriend gets jealous of my guy friends too.

It all depends on the situation. Hubby has a few female friends I think i know them all but it seems like every town we go to he introduces me to someone else. Now His random friends on facebook and yahoo I do question. I know how the men are in yahoo chat I just imagine someone of the women are the same.
