Where Were You On 9/11

I was actually still living in Canada, in my college class doing a test, when one of the other teachers came in with a TV and told us what was going on. Ironically enough i was suppose to go to NY that week but didnt due to classes.

I was at home watching on the news after just arriving home the night before from a flight returning from Seattle for my sisters wedding.  The scary thing was our original flight was canceled due to mechanical problems and they wanted us to wait until morning to get on a different flight.  I had to return to work the following day so we found a different flight rather than being in the air during 9/11.  Things like this really make you be thankful to be here today.

I'm not sure what grade I was in, but it was during elementary school. All the teachers turned on the television, so we knew something was wrong. I can't believe it's been nine years. Time sure flies by.
