Burn the Koran day!
« on: September 10, 2010, 06:43:24 am »
how many of you think that Terry Jones did this only for publicity for his church?  Come to find out he called it off as of yesterday, and the president didn't even have to contact him.

He most likely did do it for publicity even though he most likely cannot spell publicity...It is really unbelievable how idiotic people are..Then coming from a church is disgusting all loving my *bleep*...It really sucks we have so many intolerable people in the world..It is disrespectful...I hope he gets a world of *bleep* for being a uneducated fool and pulling this crap!! People like him make this world DIRTY!!

I definitely think it was ALL for publicity. The sad thing is, he has followers... LOTS of 'em. But I thought he was still going to do it? Have they even decided for sure?  I hope they don't do it, but I keep hearing that its still on, and then off, and then on....
That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.

You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into in the first place.

I just read this morning that he has called it off, I too believe that it was all for publicity, but mostly I think he has turned out to look like an *bleep*!

I heard it was called off because the city would not give burn permit. I'm not sure what his motivations are but I don't think it would help anybody at all.

People like him are what is going to draw more ire from extremists. I think everyone has the right to worship yada yada yada all that jazz but I do think that putting a mosque so close to ground zero is just disrespectful to Americans. I agree to their right to build one wherever, but have some care about it.

Well personally I think this guy is giving Christians a bad name. True Christians don't act like that. They respect other people's religions. I don't know what got into him. It certainly wasn't an act of God for him to even think of burning the Koran.
