I definitely don't trust man,  trust is something one must earn.  And so far in regards to beer or alcohol I have only seen bad things come of its existence.  Ive never heard of it being of medicinal quality.  I personally choose to not indulge in either but I know several people that do including my hubby.  I can honestly say that from my experience those that use alcohol are more out of touch with reality than those that smoke although the effects differ for each person.  So this leads me to believe that alcohol is the more dangerous substance.  Not to mention its natural vs who knows what they put in alcohol same as cigarettes, I would definitely trust god over man.
