What do you think is made up about it?? Have you read the book of Mormon?? Have you ever been to any of their services?? Have you ever taken any of their lessons??I just know they place so much value on the family, and I think that is great.

well, i've done research and i find it a little strange that th only map that is featured is of a piece of land that's not on this planet. althoug it teaches love and respect (wich i endorse), i mean i dont think anyone needs a religion to resect other lives. religion is supposed to be a way of learning to live positively, but it seems alot of religions bash each other and simply teach their way is right.

It is made up...just like every other religion.  My husband was raised Mormon, so if you have any questions, let me know!

The Church of Latter Day Saints is considered a cult by biblical description.

They believe that there are many gods not just one God.
    *  “…the Council of the Eternal God of all other gods before this world was…” (D&C 121:32)
    * The Gods plan the creation of the earth and all life thereon… (PoGP:Abraham 4:Heading)
    * …And they went down at the beginning, and they, that is the Gods, organized and formed the heavens and the earth. (PoGP:Abraham 4:1)

They believe God has a physical body of flesh and bones.
“The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us.” (D&C 130:22)

Christianity believes God is Spirit.
“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24)

They believe God was created.
“This is the way our Heavenly Father became God. Joseph Smith taught: ‘It is the first principle of the Gospel to know for a certainty the character of God. . . . He was once a man like us; . . . God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did’ (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp. 345-46).”

Christianity believes God is eternal and uncaused.

They believe Jesus is the first of billions of created spiritual children.
“Every person who was ever born on earth was our spirit brother or sister in heaven. The first spirit born to our heavenly parents was Jesus Christ (see D&C 93:21), so he is literally our elder brother (see Discourses of Brigham Young, p. 26).

They believe that humans can become gods.
Since we could not progress further in heaven, our Heavenly Father called a Grand Council to present his plan for our progression (see Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith,  pp. 348, 349, 365). We learned that if we followed his plan, we would become like him. We would have a resurrected body; we would have all power in heaven and on earth; we would become heavenly parents and have spirit children just as he does (see D&C 132:19-20).

Not to sound like  believe everything on tv. But south park had a good episode covering mormanism. the showed how it taught love and respect, but was probably made up. like i said, i endorse love and care, but religion is just an imaginary divider. like putting skittles in alphabetical order. they are all the same letter so you would go by color or flavor. just like we do with race and religon.
