in-laws
« on: August 27, 2010, 03:28:05 pm »
On occasion I take care of my 3 grandsons, this particular day I was left with a very angry Dad that had instituted a punishment for his son that he really was not able to follow through on.  He told me what had happened and if his son talked with me about what happened he could come out of his room otherwise he was suppose to stay in his room all day, difficult at best to do, he also had had no breakfast my initial reaction was to go what the heck, no, but I bit my tongue, my son-in-law went to work and I was left with playing a role I did not want as mediator. It worked out but I was a little miffed about the whole thing.
That was long but I hope you all have some ideas as what to do the next time  Help FC ers

Yes I did his younger brother had an accident on the bed and when he jumped up on the bed he just covered it up with the covers and when asked about covering up the wet spot he told his father that he did not do that I t was very weird The punishment did not fit the crime His father said he was lying as he so him cover the wet spot. No patience was displayed

Oh wow. Sounds like he did not want his brother to get in trouble for wetting the bed. I agree the punishment seems to have been to harsh in my opinion.

my in laws never liked me mainly cause I would not bow down to them was married to the guy 13 years before we split. They love his new girl though. With my man every one but his mom love me and I think her problem is that when he gets moved up here he wont be able to pay her bills for her any more.
