Sorry that you lost your job and your pay.  I have lost jobs also.   Just to help you feel better, it's not necessarily harassment if you lose your job and your pay.  I am not sure of the circumstances?  Have you talked to him to try to get your pay?  I hope that you find something soon.  Good luck!

If it was bad stuff that he tried to do then I would make sure to tell others that work there especially if they are women.  I would go to talk to him and request the payment of your 2 weeks.  Then tell him why you quit.  If this guy is not a good person I would make it known.  Bring a recorder so you have back up just in case. :dontknow:  :dog: :cat:

That's the problem with getting paid under the table. He knows that you won't take him to court, because you won't have a case. Next time you're going to do work like that, you need to get something in writing. Set a flat amount that you're going to get paid PER job that you do. Example. Let's pretend you got a job mowing this guy's lawn. You need to get it in writing that you are going to be paid to mow his lawn five times at $10 per time, equaling $50 as a pay out. This way, if he wants to get ridiculous after you mowed once, you can point out that you have a contract to mow four more times for him. If he doesn't want you around anymore, he can opt to pay you the $40 remaining that he owes.
