« on: August 17, 2010, 05:23:11 am »
Does anyone have a true "Piggy Bank"??  I put my loose change in a box but I'm trying to find my new grandson a piggy bank that is in the form of an Owl .... any suggestions as to where I might find one?

Piggy banks are good.  I like using a container where it is difficult/time consuming for me to re-access the container!  Therefore, It builds and builds : )  :icon_rr:

I don't have a bank that looks like a pig I put some of my spare change in a cup I got for a souvenir during Mardi Gras years ago.  I saw some animal banks at Target about a month ago.

I see them often at thrift stores, I seen a kansas city chiefs one the other day, but I sure wouldn't want to break it. lol, unless it was at the end of the season if things don't turn around.

My sister and I both have piggy banks, like legit "piggy" banks.  They're shaped like pigs. And we're teenagers in high school.  Mine's a lot smaller than hers, but it's completely full.  I have about $30 worth of change in there. My parents put their loose change in a container like thing though.  What a waste! Everyone should get piggy banks!

We have a corona bucket but my son has a bear.  I just googled owl, piggy bank and there are some pretty trustworthy links, best of luck!

I used to have a big pink piggy bank when I was younger. Now I have a TARDIS bank.  ;D

Most dollar stores have some good banks. Also try checking a yard sale or two.

Check out Target or Walmart. They have all kinds of banks. The one I have is the shape of a pop bottle and stands 4 foot tall :peace:
