I don't smoke. However, I have thought about taking it up just because I am so ashamed of being a non-smoker.  Non-smokers are some of the rudest whiniest, self-righteous people alive.  You all seem to know what's best for everyone.

       I do not hate them...I dislike them! I feel sorry for them because they are addicts. Yes!...They stink and are a health hazard to themselves and others. I wish someone would catch them at an early age and brake their bad habit and addiction.

Lol!... you are funny.  I think everyone have their own interest.  If we don't like it we can say we don't like it.  I don't like to stand near people who smoke either.  Because my lung is weak and everytime I smell their smoke I cough.

I don't personally hate smokers it's to much of a harsh word.
It's more of I dislike the smell of cigarettes  and I hate how unhealthy it is.
It doesn't bother me that people chose to smoke, just bothers me that the price they pay for smoking is a bad one.

   I don't dislike (or hate, as you put it) smokers; they are people just like us.  I don't like the smoke and the cigarettes at all.  My parents (especially my dad) were both pretty heavy smokers.  They both died from complications of smoking (emphezema, lung cancer, heart attack.)  Since growing up, I've developed asthma, chronic cough that the drs. say comes from the second-hand smoke.)  Now, I've got a "shadow" on the base lining of my lung that I am having a cat scan for (tomorrow.) I get really upset when I see parents smoking in the car with their children and the windows up - that's what happened to me a lot.  I feel for the children and their future.  I've also seen parents smoke in the car, windows down, and cigarette held outside of window - that is more considerate, at least.  My point:  You shouldn't hate smokers, just their habit.  You may have a habit they wouldn't like, but it shouldn't mean they hate everyone with your type of habit.

I don't hate anybody, but they do stink. They don't smell it but nonsmokers do. Besides, I'm allergic to smoke. It's a shame that people start smoking so they can be cool, then find out they have an addiction that will significantly increase their risk of lung cancer. It's sad.

I know some very nice people who smoke.  That being said, I do dislike the inconsiderate smoker.  Why is it they don't consider their butts trash and it is o.k. to throw them on the ground, put them out in the sand on the beach and throw them out of the car window?  They are trash and do not biodegrade.  Also, I don't want to be out strolling through town, at the park, out in public etc and have to be subjected to their nasty habit.  Smoke at home!!  I was a smoker and did not smoke in public.  I kept it to myself.  And as far as quitting, yes it is the hardest habit to quit, but suck it up and do it!! For your healths sake!!
