He's been "retiring" for years.  I'll believe it if he doesn't come back mid-way through the season.

Nothing against him as a player - he's a fantastic quarterback.  As a packer fan, I just got tired of the annual "retire or not" drama around this time of year.

I agree with the second post.  I am so tired of the drama make a decision and stick to it!  I could care less where he plays at this point.

It would be nice to see him go back to the Vikings, he helped them have a great year last season but at the end of the day when you've set plenty of records and have such an amazing legacy it's time to bow out.  It has to be hard thou having your whole life revolve around football then when it's over you don't know what to do with yourself.

He keeps doing this to keep the buzz going. I'm so sick of Favre. He needs to retire and go away.

Just heard on the radio that the Vikes are now offering him $20M if he'll come back. I'm guessing that it'll be like last year. He'll wait until after summer training to make a decision. Too bad, esp. for my parents since they live only 20 minutes away from Mankato (the Vikes' summer training grounds).

I am so glad I'm not the only one who is sick of all his "drama." How many times have we heard he's 'retiring' only to find out when training starts he's on the team training with them? He's not a horrible quarterback and he's done some great things in his career, but I honestly think it's just time for him to retire. Nothing says that he can't somehow become an assistant coach or do something else in the NFL. I think it's time to allow another quarterback a chance and they cannot do that if a position is going to be held by Favre.

I agree, He is a future Hall of Famer but I think it's time to retire, and go coach or be a broadcaster

He wants to play so bad   but there is a time when you have to give it up  and i think this year is brets time he had a great career  time to go to the broadcast booth or coaching job
