Cashout temporarily denied?
« on: August 03, 2010, 09:51:16 am »
I just checked my cashout status and it's listed as Temporarily Denied and FC wants me to fax them my drivers license/passport? Has this ever happened to anyone? Sounds a little fishy...

First time I've heard of anything like this. Most likely some type of conflicting information that they want to resolve or verify.

My status says good.  There's no way that I'm faxing my license/passport, so I hope this is just a technical error.

If you look under these posts at "Related Topics" this really isn't a big deal. It's happened to people before. Kohler has said that if you don't feel comfortable with sending your info, you can block out most of it. They're doing this (most likely) because your info is similar to someone else's. They need to verify that you're two different people, at two different addresses (as per Terms of Service).

I agree that Fusion Cash is probably just being cautious and they have good reason.  With a site like this that deals in money they are most likely the constant target of international scams and attempts to defraud not only FC but all of us as well.  They (FC) is looking out for ALL parties involved. They (FC) are reputable and trustworthy.  Send them your information and get your earnings.

Seconded. I'd hate to lose time and/or money!

What information exactly do they need? They said you can also send a school ID but my school ID only has my picture, name, ID#, and year of graduation. My Account Standing is good as well. I know FC is credited by the BBB but I'm reluctant faxing my ID to a total stranger and most definitely won't fax my passport.

Wait a minute... your passport? This site is for U.S. residents only. That could be what's wrong!

Wow...I'm still waiting for my cashout to be approved.  Hope that doesn't happen to me!

I thought he said they needed your picture, name and address to verify it. You should definitely read through the other posts on this topic. I'm sure they're not trying to steal your identity.
