I watch the sales and stock up on items I use when they are on sale. I have bought 4 reams of paper for .04, got deodrant for free and the list goes on. Just watch the sales and shop smart and you can save a lot of money.

Cut back on services that you do not need or that you can do yourself.  Cut back on your cable bill also, I should have done this years ago.  I save $40.00 a month by using the family tier of programing.  I miss some of the channels, but there is still tons to watch.

All great tips.  Yeah, I just recently starting buying sale items in bulk - the other day the coffee grinds were almost $2.00 off, so I bought 2 instead of 1

These are some really great tips. I use coupons when I am shopping. Most of the time I go for the off brand product. Sometimes thou you just gotta buy the name brand. I wont buy kroger mac and cheese. It might be me but i cant get it too cook right so we always buy kraft. sometimes you have to spend a little more for taste.

I grow a garden and can and freeze a lot of vegetables from the summer to use all winter. You can really save some money. I also go to farmers market and buy in bulk there too. I got about 25 extra large onions for $8 instead of buying them 2 for $1. I can so I use a lot of onions. 3 quarts of salsa  needs 5 cups chopped onions.

I see threads like this on lots of forums and it always makes me grin. 

My feelings are just the opposite, I think spending money is FUN and there is no way I am going to pinch pennies.

When people in the United States have so many websites to earn from for free, why not just make more?

Sure you need to learn how to get referrals (that's the key), but I think it was worth it! Not only here on Fusioncash, I have signed up TENS OF THOUSANDS of people for various programs since I started and it gets easier every day.

Well my outlook on life sometimes is "Hey, if I die tomorrow at least I know I enjoyed a root beer" (I don't buy pop anymore - part of saving those pennies.  But when those bills come and I can't pay, or a week goes by when I can't buy food for my son I feel like s**t

I do this to a fault!  I've gotten off of my motorcycle at a traffic light to pick up a penny!

I have a few good ideas to try

You can use a mixture of baking soda and lemon juice to clean just about anything 

look on computer sites for people giving away free stuff and go get it and have a yard sale

go to the supermarket early in the morning during the week and look for the specials on meets.  I can usually get stuff for like two or three dollars off  it really helps

I've been looking for things to do for my hair wthout spending lots of money at salons so far I found:
**The cheap girls deep conditioning treatment: Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo, saturate your hair with your condtioner- I use Dove Intensve repair- Put on a shower cap, or if you don't have one, pile hair up ad wrap with plastic wrap; wrap your head with a hot towel and leave on from 20 mins- 1hour, changing towel as needed. Then rinse! Do about once a week. I also saw some things about using mayonaise on your hair which I'll be checking out this week. The things we gals will do for good hair
