Try rewarding him with something after he goes like an m and m or something.

That what I was doing.  I bought a BIG bag of m&m's.  He just doesn't seem to care anymore.

I'm sorry, that's too bad. I don't have kids that's the only thing I could think of I saw it on tv.

YES...bribing worked for me! Especially M&M's...
My son wanted NOTHING to do with potty training when he was ONE, TWO...TWO & a half, & THREE!!! He was 3 yrs & 4 months old when he FINALLY was consistant
and did both pee pee & poopy in the potty (the BIG boy potty AKA the toilet..LOL). So with that said, he has been great EXCEPT for night time which is understandable & he does have a rare accident here or there BUT remember...boys do take a little while longer to potty train than girls!  :) You need to have patients like a saint!  :angel12:
haha! Hope this helped!  ;)

Thanks!  I hope he gets it soon with the price of diapers.  I guess patience is a vertue.

I hear ya....I only buy the cheap NO brand name pull ups that last about 3 to 4 weeks. Which is better than buying diapers! Don't worry...he'll get there! Have faith!
ooohh....another way is (you might hate it - BUT it works!!) is just keeping him in underwear, talk with him & explain that if he goes pee pee or poopy in his underwear that it does not feel nice & he will be stinky! I did that with my son while he was in daycare & the teacher was ok with it...just had to pack EXTRA clothes for him...it worked while he was in school!  I tested it out on the weekends first before we decided to send him to school like that! lol...he pee'd & crapped himself a few times & HATED the feeling of being soiled!  ;D

Pooping is harder for elderly people.

when he fills a diaper, take him to the bathroom and dump the contents of the diaper into the toilet and tell him "this is where this goes"

sit with him, read him books, or, better yet, have him "read" to you, sticker him silly when he goes....

If sitting with them doesn't work try giving them privacy and letting them go on their own.  My daughter wont go when someones in the room with her but if you leave her alone and check on her every now and then she will.  Some kids just need privacy where some are more comfortable with mom there with them.  We have a few kids books in the bathroom for her to look at so she has something to do while shes in there and can relax and not stress about going on the potty.  Also some kids don't potty train as quickly as others.  Our doctor advised us to let her do it when she was ready and not stress over what society says is the right time.  All kids are different and accomplish milestones at different times.

hang in there -- when he is ready he will do it.
my son decided he didn't want pull ups anymore a few days before his 3rd birthday -- he all of a sudden was fully potty trained.
we get a spoonful of ice cream after he poops in the toilet and washes his hands!

hahahah lol funniest thread i have read in my day :p

but in all seriousness he will come into his senses one day and go to the toilet
everyone should get to this point where they dont have to rely on there moms or the potty trainer.

its just common sense.

lol...we're talking about a toddler here not an elderly person! lol  :binkybaby:
and babies do not "come to their senses" because they are babies & that's why they have mommy's & daddy's! lol  :P
