questions about completed survey
« on: July 29, 2010, 06:31:10 am »
I have just started and I have questions about submitting survey.  How long does it take for you to see if your survey was completed and when you get paid.  I have submitted several surveys and only 2 have come up completed and one of those is the 5 dollar one you get in the beginning

For me daily surveys, if that's what you're referring to, credit on the first minute every ten minutes.

Surveys are tricky and time consuming.  You can spend a lot of time before hyou find out you are not qualified.  When I had the time I still did them though because I had run out of other offers, but FC has added lots of new since theb that I haven't had a chance to try.  How are the Surveyhead ones?

they usually pay within a few hours, but there are times when my did't credit till next day.
Then there are those times for whatever the reason you will not get paid at all.
Some surveys take 20 min or so, then they say that you don't qualify.
Its a hit or miss, and of course you can keep trying many times a day until one does pay.
Once a survey pays, you cannot try that again until the next day.

Another question related to this: How do the payments link to your account?  Is it by e-mail address or by cookies?  I had issues with my Lycos account and had to change to a Gmail account.  Does this effect how FC credits my account if I use a different e-mail address?

Surveys are kind of a "ring toss".  At least it seems that way to me.  Sometimes I hit the mark, sometimes I don't.  I've heard all kinds of options to try to help your chances of getting credited.  I don't think there is any magic answer.  Clear cookies before and after......or don't.  I've done it both ways without getting credited or being credited.  Sometimes it's just the roll of the dice.  It's not just FC either.  I belong to another survey website, and they have the same trouble.  Another survey site shows the money, but has to "confirm" with the survey website if you actually took the survey all the way to the end, and if it was acceptable.  This can open a whole plethora of variables.

My suggestion is take the survey's, and you will get credited for most of them.  They can be tedious, and time consuming.  They don't even pay minimum wage, so a lot of people just don't have the time to spend.  If your not working full time (like me), then it's something to do.  I myself like to take survey's.  To think my opinion matters to these companies, and they are willing to pay me for it......yay.....sign me up

It's more hit than miss though.

Yes, to me, the time invested is worth the small amount of pay if my opinion becomes a part of the production of a product or service that is asking for it.

It would really be nice if FC got rid of all these surveys and did something different, because I am really sick of these surveys especially when you work on them for 30 minutes and credit isn't given.  They really are a headache.

I think FC makes pretty good from the survey companies.  If they can pay us a $1, or $.60 apiece, then FC gets more than that (I think).  I'm on another survey site, and they take a bigger bite.  So Far FC gives the most per survey on a site like this one.  There are specialty survey sites that will pay more per survey, but you have to be a particular demographic to qualify, and I hardly ever do.  They're pretty strict who they accept to take surveys.

I took one today I didn't get credited for.....it happens.

My credit ratio for the surveys is usually pretty good.  It's the other offers like the quick surveys and the submitting your e-mail that I seem to have problems with.

BTW: I completed the Toluna (sp?) offer with my Lycos address and I was credited for it.  Therefor, FC must use something else besides your e-mail address to link to your rewards.  Cookies perhaps?

For those who say that they do not do surveys any longer, what is it you are doing to make money?
